The first Rathole Radio of 2012. Supposedly it’s the end of the world this year, but that doesn’t mean you can’t make time to check out some of the best independent musicians you’ve never heard. I skipped the live song this time but only because I had a bumper show already. Hope you enjoy it.

Ven. 10 juin – Festival Papillons de Nuit

Les festivals, ca se vit de différente manière. J'ai déjà fait quelques concerts aux Francopholies de La Rochelle, et une bonne série aussi au Printemps de Bourges. Mais des concerts où on rentre chez la famille le soir, c'est pas du vrai festival.

Avec cette édition 2011 des Papillons de Nuit, j'ai fait le deuxième festival de ma vie dans les vraies conditions : Pass 3 jours, tente, duvet, bonne humeur, clopes, alcool, et sociabilité au maximum. Bon, mon premier, le Rock Am Ring 2008, m'avait bien entraîné... Au lieu d'une heure de route, c'était plus de 8h, avec changement de pays et de langue. Là non plus, je n'ai pas été déçu du voyage.

Avec une arrivée sous un ciel bleu, tout juste le temps de monter la tente et de commencer à faire connaissance avec nos voisins (pendant quand même 3 bonnes heures à chanter, souffler dans le vuvuela et rentabiliser le premier pack), que nous voilà partis pour Dub Inc.
