There are some rockstars out there who seem to have the looks and the sex appeal. Please don't ask if I find
Michael Hutchence of
INXS attractive: I say he isn't (well, a bit). Like those other great rockstars out there who are incredibly handsome, but I just don't think they have it. But eh... I have a strange taste when it comes to men and I would like to mention the strange rockstars I love.
Well, no stranger here:
Bruce Dickinson! I love the chap since I was about 15 and was introduced to
Iron Maiden. I couldn't believe the hair! That was fantastic! I was probably still a child (and not aware of a band called Iron Maiden) when he decided to cut his hair, but I almost have to cry if I think about it. This man is raw and sexy, even with all the hair over his body. How he gets a crowd going and sings
The Evil That Men Do I just get this feeling I want to jump him if I would stand next to him. Unfortunally it didn't happen yet and I think don't make such a good impression if I decided to do so. Something I would like to evoid when I meet him someday. I know what you're thinking: Why?! Yeah, I hear that a lot, and YES, I know he is getting 50 this year. And you know what? I don't give a ****! Bruce Dickinson, you're hot!
Next in our sexy metal artists:
Matthew Barlow! Yeah, you know him from
Iced Earth, who he worked with for several years, decided to quit the band and recently joined again. Finally! Well, I haven't seen him live yet (the first time I went to see Iced Earth
Tim Owens was still in the band), but boy I would to see him sweating in front of me someday. I think I would enjoy it a lot! I don't know about his hairdo about the moment, but he used to have LONG hair! Even longer than lovely Bruce. But still, he is sexy and manly! If I see him live, I want him to perform
The Coming Curse, with his shirt off!
Well, say I have a taste in older men. I love
Ritchie Blackmore. Basically because he was the leading man in
Rainbow. I don't know much about his work in Deep Purple (I only own
In Rock) but the 'Man in Black' sure is handsome. Well, I mean in his days. Now the mustache is not doing much for me; but when he was young and on stage with Rainbow: priceless and hot! So, when you have Richie's guitar playing skills and the looks: come by, come by....
Not longer among us but jummie:
Phil Lynott. And well, I was about 14 when I first heard
Thin Lizzy (see where the profile name comes from?) I was so surprised by that voice! No screaming voices, no convincing that he is loud; just a smooth voice to make me giggle like a woman in love! He made my knees go weak! I was about 17 when I saw his face for the first time, so I lived on his voice over three years. Well, and when I saw that face, I wasn't dissapointed. Not at all! It gave the Thin Lizzy drive I had just another push. The face, the performing... Oh mama! Phil, you still got it, somehow. I know he died before I was even born, but still; he's handsome and always has been!
Well, just to make the list not too long... Well, please, think young! I've also have a thing for
Robert Plant (
Led Zeppelin),
Bono (
U2),
Chad Kroeger (
Nickelback),
Steve Harris (
Iron Maiden) and
Joe Perry (
Joe Perry Project,
Aerosmith). So basically you know my weird taste in men and well, I know they're old now, but in their days they were amazingly stunning! Besides Bruce Dickinson though, he will be handsome forever. So Bruce, I hope you'll be walking on this earth for another long, long time, just looking forward to meet you and (well, you at least have to give me that) press my lips on your handsome cheek... Up the Iron's!
Cheers! Li_zzy!
