There's a video in Youtube on which the guitarist of Casting Crowns teaches a way to play Who Am I on acoustic guitar. It's real sweet, I recommend anyone who can play to check it out. Discovered this band about half a year ago... The lyrics are just marvellous, they have the right attitude and message, but musically this band fails to create anything new and thus all the songs sound the same to me.

I wonder why so many people laugh at this band merely because they are Christian. I saw Casting Crowns live and they were amazing. No, do not assume I listen to Christian music...but I like this band and think they're great at what they do and I admire their faith.

Yea, it probably depends. In Finland you are allowed to make a copy of the CD for yourself as long as it a) is from a legal source and b) doesn't have copy-protection.

It's not free, it's really cheap. So it seems legal, because you *are* paying, but in reality, it probably isn't any more legal than downloading it for free off of [your preferred source]. Also, as far as I know, you're only allowed to rip your own cds, for backup purposes. I could be wrong, though, or it might depend on which country you're in.

99% of people doing it doesn't make it legal, and stealing is still a sin even if everybody does it. But I personally don't see much difference in fetching the CD from the local library and ripping it (which is legal) and downloading the same stuff from the Internet.
