I wonder if Casiotone is becoming a sort of indie seasonal music, with Cold White Christmas getting 6x the plays of any other songs on the "Last Week" charts, and presumably New Year's Kiss will be in the same position once the charts update next week.

On the contrary, "Casiotone for the Painfully Alone" is a fantastic name for a band. Just brilliant. It so perfectly sums up the band's sound that you don't even have to listen to them to know what they're like. You can't say the same thing about, oh, I don't know, Neutral Milk Hotel.

also: would anyone be interested in a pdf that acts as a complete discography of every cftpa release i've been able to find information on? contains all compilations with unique songs (though some are just alternate titles (like "Die Zugfahrt, Die Unsere Beziehung Kaputtgemacht Kat")) and all the cassingles i've been able to find out about. known bootlegs not included.

No problem. Happy to share. Some notes: "Black Corolla" also known as "Black Corolla / So Much for the Afternoon" is a remix of CFTPA's remix of Headlights' "So Much for the Afternoon" available on their remix album "Remixes". That original remix is pretty cool, too, so check that out.
