Now, before we start, can I just say one thing? I like music. I mean, I really like music. I suppose, or at least I hope, that fact is pretty self-evident. But then again, don't we all? I could reel off a load of bullshit about the subjective nature of music, opinions, taste and so on and so forth but that'd make this here lil' listy rather pointless, wouldn't it? Shit like this is designed to inspire debate and evoke feelings of outrage, agreement, disbelief and, more often than not, sheer-fucking-wall-punching-bin-kicking-hand-breaking anger. If you can be arsed reading what I've scribed, then kudos to you. Hopefully you won't agree. I doubt you will. I probably don't. If you do you're likely to be a stalker who wants to have sex with me. You better be female. And fit(ish).

Miałam nie jechać. Miało nie być niczego, co mnie zachwyca, line-up wyglądał zbyt offowo jak na moje chwilami mainstreamowe gusta, praktyka cały tydzień i masa innych powodów, żeby sobie odpuścić. Poza tym z Krakowa na ślunsk jedzie się dłużej niż z Ośw.

Dość powiedzieć, że z sobotnich wykonawców nie kojarzyłam praktycznie nikogo.

No ale chłopcy z WRT dostali się na scenę Miasta Muzyki, ja miałam nieoczekiwane wolne w piątek w pracy, Ewa z Martą jechały samochodem i zaprosiły mnie na befora do Kleszczowa, więc w zasadzie plusy przeważyły minusy. Gdyby nie niefortunna przygoda z wyrzuceniem 65PLN na bilet na zły dzień i perspektywa tylko połowy niedzieli na przygotowanie makiety, byłoby bosko.

Byłam więc w Mysłowicach w sobotę wczesnym popołudniem, miałam więc okazję zajrzeć do namiotu na Hatifnats. Widziałam ich wcześniej jako support w Żaczku i z tego koncertu najbardziej pamiętam niesamowitą korelację światła i dźwięku, nie do odtworzenia w trójkowym namiocie w porze pełnego słońca. Co nie zmienia faktu, że otwarciem festiwalu byli udanym.

W oczekiwaniu na "nasz" koncert, przeszłyśmy się na Główną zobaczyć zespół grupa kot. Nieporozumienie. Trudno powiedzieć, śmiać się, czy płakać. Zupełnie nie nasza bajka, nawet, jeśli jako pastisz. "Mam naganne. Pipo." Żenua. o_o

Więc zmyłyśmy się na scenę Miasta Muzyki, gdzie nieługo później grało White Rabbit's Trip - w nieco poszerzonym składzie, pokazując doprawione perkusjonaliami aranżacje znanych kawałków. Więcej nie mówię, bo nie jestem najbardziej obiektywnym z recenzentów ;) Muzyka Końca Lata grała na Leśnej tuż przed, ale trudno jest mi o nich coś powiedzieć, bo w zasadzie wysłuchałam może jednego kawałka... Zahaczyłyśmy o nich tylko :)

Grający o 17.00 Janek Samołyk miał dużo szczęścia - odwołany koncert Rolo Tomassi sprawił, że był jedyną propozycją muzyczną o tej godzinie, na interiowej plaży były dzikie tłumy. Trudno jest mi jednak uwierzyć, że wszystkich ściągnęły piosenki wrocławskiego wokalisty, z tekstami w stylu "nie mrugaj, bo będzie wstyd, gdy wywołam zdjęcia" albo "mógłbym śpiewać o tym, jak kaszlesz". E-e. Nie zmieniłam zdania od czasu koncertu w Żaczku w zeszłym roku.

Casiotone for the Painfully Alone w namiocie - fajny, fajny koncert, coś, czego się mega przyjemnie słucha, ale bez doznawania. Chociaż może po prostu siedzenie z tyłu namiotu nie sprzyja ;) Ale cóż, tyle koncertów, nie da się stać na wszystkich.

Za to późniejsze Handsome Furs na Leśnej to potężna dawka energii i bardzo chcę usłyszeć ich nagrania. "This next song is about this great documentary that was released in US lately, it's called "Terminator: Salvation". Seriously, it's the best documentary about the future I have seen." ^__^

Nie poszłyśmy na Cool Kids of Death, bo zaczęło się robić zimno i wolałyśmy się przebrać, ale podobno wiele nie straciłyśmy. Za to Crystal Antlers na Leśnej było świetne, przez pewien czas pretendując nawet do miana "koncertu festiwalu".

Po CA zmyłam się pod Główną, gdzie grała Maria Peszek (TAK). No lubię, nic nie poradzę. Poza tym to był jeden z dwóch koncertów, na których znałam teksty granych kawałków, a to zawsze miła odmiana ;) Przed występem na scenie pojawił się Jerzy Buzek, który "przejechał 700km, żeby posłuchać tego koncertu" - nie miałam pojęcia, że przewo PE słucha marii-awarii :P dziwna niespodzianka i spore wtf ;)
Maria zaprezentowała ten sam spektakl, który widziałyśmy z Klaudią w Studiu na wiosnę, dobry spektakl - ale publiczność momentami doprowadzała do żenadnych sytuacji. Co innego bawić się na koncercie, a co innego drzeć i zagłuszać wokalistkę...

Później zamierzałam wbić się na eksperymentalną na Dictaphone, co okazało się mission impossible, zupełnie jak rok temu. Przez uchylone okno brzmiało naprawdę niesamowicie, ale niestety nieco zagłuszało ich Wooden Shjips z Leśnej, które ponoć było "nudne". Nie wiem, spędziłam ten czas szukając znajomych, więc się nie przysłuchiwałam.

Poszliśmy się ogrzać do namiotu, gdzie grał Jeremy Jay - utknęliśmy z tyłu, więc nic nie było widać i średnio słychać, ale chcę się zapoznać z jego nagraniami, bo mam przeczucie, że to coś w moim guście.

Nasi zmęczeni kierowcy zadecydowali, że The National będą ostatnim koncertem, na który pójdziemy, więc ruszyliśmy pod Główną. I chociaż temperatura spadła do jakiejś nieziemskiej wartości, TEN koncert był absolutnie niesamowity i słuchałam jak zahipnotyzowana. MEGA i masakra w jednym, absolutnie, a rzadko mi się to zdarza, jeśli nie znam zupełnie muzyki zespołu, którego słucham.

Podsumowując, chociaż prześladował mnie pech niesamowity, nie byłam w stanie znaleźć nikogo, z kim się umawiałam, choć ludzi było ze cztery razy mniej niż rok temu, plany zmieniały się co chwila (w końcu nie weszłam na ani jeden koncert na eksperymentalnej *facepalm*), a w końcu telefon odmówił współpracy, to nie mogę nazwać tegorocznego festiwalu nieudanym.
Czego żałuję: Final Fantasy, Miłośći i Ólafur Arnalds. Echhhh kurde w Wawie nie byłam, teraz też się nie udało. Do trzech razy sztuka, mam nadzieję...

Wygląda na to, że to wydarzenie na stałe zagościło już w moim kalendarzu, więc cya za rok :-)
