Parte chata de escrever aqui: Ninguém lê.

Parte legal de escrever aqui: Ninguém lê.

    Rá, otimismo é uma beleza.

Faltam cinco semanas pra terminar meu estágio. Depois organizo tudo e sigo meu rumo. E tomara que dê tudo certo.
Me apresentei à junta militar.

Teve show do Muse no Brasil. Não fui. :(

Keane com CD novo em Outubro. Opa. :FF

Cachorro Grande rula.

Motivo do título? Minha *cof*baixa*cof* auto-estima as vezes me faz pensar que certas coisas nunca vão acontecer. Provei o contrário pra ela ultimamente.

E acho que é só. Por enquanto...

  • Início do blog, Interpol e (provável) futuro do blog

Kessler, à minha frente, dedilhou as notas de TocarPioneer to the Falls. Enfim, o show começou.

TocarMammoth me decepcionou um pouco, achei meio lenta.

NYC, Stella Was a Diver and She Was Always Down e PDA, esta última com direito a pausa após o refrão. Enfim, reservaram o melhor para o final: as três melhores de Turn on the Bright Lights.

Take You on a Cruise.

  • Interpol wil rise you up

    Mar 14 2008, 0h11 por rodsontherocks

On last Tuesday I went to see the concert of the first band I started to more themn like, but becoming a fan: Interpol.

I woke up and went right to Via Funchal - the venue were they were going to play. I arrived about 10:15AM.
There were already about 8 people in the line. The line was so fun I didn't feel the time passing - until the gate was open.

My boyfriend arrived about 6:00PM. We went to the back and listened a few of the soundcheck. About 7:00 PM it stared to rain a lot. We spent some minutes outside until they opened the gate. Then it started a chaos:

1st: I have been checked and then a fucking bastard guy watchman made me come back for the checking.
After that we spent several minutes in a line in front of the stairs - the gate open should be at 76:30PM - then we stayed there and people were constantly coming on and pushing who already in the hall, it was horrible. Later everyone ran to get a good place. Me and my bf took a place on the left of the stage.

About 9:30PM Cachorro Grande played - I've got to confess I don't think it was an apropriate band. They sound nothing like Interpol but Arctic Monkeys. At least it was a short concert.

After that it was like a dream come true: Interpol played a bunch of songs from their three albums: Turn on the Bright Lights, Antics and Our Love to Admire.

I didn't think it would be like that: when they took the stage and started to play I just started to cry like a child so touched I went. I have no words to express the way I felt there. The little troubles with being pushed against the grid. And the watcheman that throwed the Carlos D reed when we asked for it, the watchamn that throwed the setlist to the right when we asked for it, the watchman that did'nt let us go to the stage are nothing compared to the great concert I had. I wish I could go to the Rio and BH gigs too, but if I die today at least I've seen the band of my life with the man of my life by my side.

    The set list below:
    01. Pioneer to the Falls
    02. Obstacle 1
    03. NARC
    04. C’Mere
    05. The Scale
    06. Say Hello To The Angels
    07. Mammoth
    08. No I In Threesome
    09. Hands Away
    10. Slow Hands
    11. Rest My Chemistry
    12. The Lighthouse
    13. Evil
    14. The Heinrich Maneuver
    15. Not Even Jail
    Bis:
    16. NYC
    17. Stella Was A Diver And She Was Always Down
    18. PDA

    Terça 11 Mar – Interpol
  • on the Bright Lights

    Mar 13 2008, 15h10 por zehricardo

    .

E quanto ao Our Love to Admire vai levar tempo pra que ele deixe meu MP3 no caso.
