OK, "Sixteen Stone" and "Razoblade Suitcase" are a kickin' asses albums, but I think "The Science of Things" and "Golden State" are great albums too. In these isn't the same sound of 1994/96 but, both have amazing songs: "The Chemical Between Us", "English Fire" (TSoT) and "Headful of Ghosts", "Hurricane", "Inflatable", "Float' and "Superman" (Golden State). The two last Bush's albums were so UNDERRATED.-

I never understood the hate these guys got. The only legitimate criticisms, IMO, are they aren't original and the lyrics are often ridiculous. But as far as the actual songs go, musically they can be quite good.

I was never that impressed with their first record (the Nirvana/Pixies copycat-ism that the band bio references is totally accurate), but they started to develop their own sound by the time Razorblade Suitcase came around. It remains their best work, with The Science of Things close behind.
