Brian Eno, anti-feminist? Sure. But Brian Eno, class warrior? Who know? He seems more indifferent aesthete than statement-maker, so it's odd to see him saying anything about, well, anything. Unsurprisingly, though, a lot of the statement is embodied in the song's space-age girl-group sound--in the ooh-ooh girly backing vocals, the booming wall-of-sound bass, and the tinkling piano line throughout. The whole she-bang is mockery, of course. Consider the dramatic, bombastic air in the song's heavy--like, really heavy--rhythm sound. Dramatic, we're sure, is how our bourgeois feminist considers of her newfound freedom: it's tough out there for a rich chick, burdened by a man's money and unburdened by any of idea of what to do with it. Consider, too, the buzzing guitar tone. It's the guitar sound on a new age, an age of girl power coming into its own. It's also the sound of something zooming around up in the clouds, with airy ideas of a revolutionary, more just society.

Just beautiful!! One of his best records. The sound and concept that he couldn´t do with Roxy.
