I've been told it's different but different in a good way, sort of like I've been told In Flames's "Come Clarity" is different from their earlier stuff (think "Clayman", "Whoracle").
9) Breaking Benjamin (7) - Up 34 spots from number 43. A big mover! I've been getting a lot of those. But from 1 play last week to 7 this week. Not too shabby.
8) Pretty Girls Make Graves (7) - Debuting on the top 10! Last week they were who knows where since they don't show up on my list. Damn. This band rocks. I wish I was into them when they were up in Buffalo doing like three shows a week for a month. My loss I suppose.
7) Dark Tranquillity (8) - Didn't move, surprise surprise. I haven't quite listened through "Haven" yet, though "Character" and "Damage Done" is on my playlist. I just need to give "Haven" a few more listens when my attention isn't divided and it'll go on, too.
6) Slipknot (8) - Once again, another band not on my list for last week. I added their most recent album to my list, too, though it's been out for at least a year and a half now. Some good stuff on that disc.
5) System of a Down (8) - Down 3 spots from number 2. And even though I've toned down my listening of them, they're still up in the top five. But they're still good, so that's all I can hope for.
4) Nightwish (8) - Up one spot from number 3. Another band slowly being toned down. I like them, they're good music, but I don't like them enough for them to be in my top 10 so much. I don't think they've been out of my top 10 since I've started Audio Scrobbling...
3) AFI (9) - Up 3 spots from number 6. I can't wait for their new album, it's going to be good I think.
2) Story of the Year (9) - Up 18 spots from number 20. Another big mover. I'm not sure why they're this high, but I do remember hearing them a lot. Their new release is killer.
1) Motion City Soundtrack (12) - Didn't move. I've been going over the lyrics for their second album "Commit This to Memory" so they're up there once again. I still have a few more songs to go through, but once I'm done with that, they should fall back to the way-side, which is too bad.
