    Haha, this is the perfect example of Spector's brilliance. His 1962 version = absolute marvel. Everything about it works - the arrangement, the sound, the perfomances. Re-recorded spectorless version on = piece of crap. Whoever "produced" that abomination should consider lobotomy.

    This is not the original single mix. Bobby's voice is way too high and all the claustrophobic production values have been stripped away. The version listed with a lower case z is the original, I think – but still so much better on vinyl
