No creo que sea una forma de protesta, si quisieran protestar y llegar al gran público estarían lanzando discos, haciendo giras, firmando contratos, rodando documentales, etcétera. Vamos, me parece que es una vía mucho más directa de hacer llegar un mensaje, sea cual sea. De cualquier modo está claro que Boards of Canada no concuerda nada con el estilo de vida contemporáneo y siempre se ha mantenido aparte de las corrientes comerciales, tanto personal como profesionalmente, en estilo de vida recluido y lo más íntimo posible. Esto justifica en parte el carácter de su música, que es complejísimo y lleno de significado, más allá de lo puramente recreativo.

Algunas personas piensan que la música es tan solo dinero y fama, la mayoría de los "artistas" se aprovechan de este absurdo pensamiento y entonces llenan el mercado con sus trabajos carentes de contenido. He escuchado todos los trabajos de BoC y cada vez que los escucho, encuentro algo nuevo, siempre, su musica se auto renueva, es mágico. He encontrado el significado de la música que tanto había buscado, quizás estoy obsesionado o tal vez enamorado, pienso que nunca podre olvidar su música y deseo no hacerlo, honestamente no necesito ningún álbum nuevo ¿para que? podrían defraudarme, aunque si llega como dicen todos, lo único que podré hacer será escucharlo, seria imposible no hacerlo... en cierta forma seria agradable escuchar que han estado haciendo todo este tiempo, pero en el fondo deseo que no vuelvan a aparecer y se conserve para siempre esta ausencia, la cual desde mi punto de vista no es mas que una clara protesta a la maquinaria musical y a la sociedad en general. (U_U)
