Bloodsimple is an American metal band from New York City that formed in 2002. They are currently signed to Warner Bros. Records.
The band’s name, Bloodsimple, comes from a term coined by detective novelist Dashiell Hammett. The term apparently describes the addled, fearful mindset people are in after a prolonged immersion in violent situations. The term was coined in the novel Red Harvest, which is also the title of Bloodsimple’s second album.

Well put! That's Will Hunt member of now defunct bands Skrape and Dark New Day drumming on that album. It's just a notch above the debut CD to me and I was digging on Red Harvest for months when it came out. I hope they make a 3rd album at some point! Great signing by Chad Gray, he knows what bands kick ass nowadays.

i like red harvest better than A Cruel World. 99% of the songs from the album i got addicted to. that automatically made me love the band. and because i love pantera that much i guess. the riffs, the lyrics..just awsome. too bad they are known to a big minor of people who listen metal.

These Guys are awsome, i'v seen them once as the support of Life of Agony in Belgium. I'v been a LOA-Fan for ages, but that day i had to abondon, that they were even better then the actual thing. Bood in, Boold out! Bloodsimple for life!
