This is an article in which I tried to bundle all the great losses of rock'n roll and modern music. That means all the musicians which are worldwide known and died at young age (before 51 years old). I tried to give a little information about the way they died. Most of the information I got from Wikipedia. When someone thinks I forgot an artist or that the information is incorrect... I'm open for new information.

Following a 21-month-long battle with breast cancer, Lhasa died, age 37, on the evening of January 1, 2010, at her home in Montreal.
Rhett Forrester (Riot) (1956-1994)
Murdered. He was shot and killed in Atlanta, Georgia, after he refused to give up his vehicle in an attempted carjacking. The crime has not to date, been solved.

I think its cute that now that wh is dead ppl understand I had more to do with its creation than Robert Disaro, it was always me and CDX (Mater Suspiria Vision, just ask ConorTripler) though seeing im still an unsung hero of this or any other movement I've helped create, Id like to be hailed as the #ICEKING because my music has always been cold, dark and windy rather than the slow and muddled sound that has became loved and revered by the likes of indie pop pioneers HTRK and Pictureplane (Slow Head, Nattymari, party trash, ijĒŞǙŞ ҚĦŖiŞŢ (R.I.P.)).

So now that the wicked witch is dead, her soul and spirit ripped out, eaten, and given new meaning by Esben And The Witch, Florence + the Machine and of course every occultist's favourite The Peach Tree ( Daemonization ), I'd like to take a chance to acknowledge some coldwave (icerave) favourites; Recent heros of music who are legitimate and amazing acts that were mistakenly caught up in the confusion and trapped in the witch house until it's collapse. …

For many reasons it's a good thing I don't write music reviews for a living. One reason is that I'm very slow even to post the reviews of the few shows I see. At this point, instead of trying to catch up with individual journals about each performance that gets more and more distant in my memory, I'll just do thumbnails from the last year or so, then promise to do better in the future.

About fourteen months ago, I saw a somewhat updated revival of the musical "Oklahoma!" and enjoyed it thoroughly. It was the keystone show in the reopening of Arena Stage, a respected local theater venue that was recently renovated. Particularly noteworthy were the mixed-race cast and the standout performances of the actors in the support roles of Judd Frye and Ado Annie. The show was so popular that it sold out almost immediately and was brought back for another run in the summer that also sold out quickly.

A few months after that I attended a concert of the Fairfax Symphony featuring a violin…
