@McBeastie That seems fair but as you said the interview was from 2008 other recent interviews gave more of an impression they where (or thinking of) breaking up. http://www.bbc.co.uk/6music/news/20091014_blocparty.shtml I also got the impression from how they where talking to the fans on their recent tour that things weren't right I really hope I'm wrong though.

I don't see what all the confusion is about. They've been saying they were going to take AT LEAST a year off ever since last year. Silent alarm is a little too good of an album. Well its almost ridiculously good. But one of my recent favorites is the B-side to the A weekend in the city labeled ANOTHER WEEKEND IN THE CITY, it is incredibly good. My fav track is we were lovers etc.
