Can we ban this user who keeps uploading the nasty "keep stats clean" image? They keep uploading it whenever it gets removed and it's disgusting to see that image, and totally pointless. Blizzard Entertainment IS the artist for the tracks.

Tag "Artist name" is only for the performing ones. For compositors there is another tag, so I will not correct it.

Basically a composer can be an artist, but an artist is NOT ALWAYS a composer!

Lets define "Music Artiest" One who composes, conducts, or performs music, especially instrumental music. Well Since MP3 tags have separate labels for Composer AND Artist, that means those can be two DIFFERENT people. And this is very much true in large collaborations. So if the artiest and the composer can be two different people, that means we can remove the composer from an MP3's definition of an Artist. Which leaves us with the person(s) actually preforming the song. And in this case it is what ever group of people the company "Blizzard Entertainment" pays to preform the song. And if that group was formed by said company and does not have a name, then in absence of a name it would fall on the company that paid/formed the group. In this case that is "Blizzard Entertainment". Which in this case makes it a valid tag for "Artist" as we already have another section for the DIFFERENT COMPOSER!

I agree with all posts below about how "Blizzard Entertainment" is much easier and cleaner for a tag than all 10+ composers mixed-and-matched for different tracks.

No? I'd rather have that as my Tag instead of 8 Artists in one Long Artistname.

I actually think that Mists' soundtrack might be the best of all expansions including vanilla. Trully mind-blowing.

I agree with hvitoi. There is a reason for composer tag.

It shouldn't be shown here on's description blizzard entertainment as an incorrect tag! Blizzard has released these melodies. I'd hate having multiple name of artists for different albums of the same game. I better prefer setting the real composers in COMPOSITOR TAG. WoW music is amazing!
