Here's hoping. Well I guess you could sort of say Nattura was a b-side (because I thought she made it for Volta, it got dropped at the final cut, then she decided to release it in 2008 to raise money for a nature fund, although I may be wrong.) Volta is getting better after each listen. There's some really catchy songs in here.

Songs like Pneumonia, My Juvenile, I see who you are really feel out of place on this album and contradict her "not being serious on this album". It's still a good album though, not my personal favourite, but I love Wanderlust, Earth Intruders, and innocence is catchy! Hope is an odd song but it still sounds nice, whilst the rest are good efforts. I hope she goes back to her Homogenic/Vespertine type sounds but I love the fact she's trying different sounds!

I think this is very good album, she really tried some new things, production by Timbaland isn't the worst thing in the world. Whole album is very powerful and I enjoy listening to it. Volta is very interesting, you can feel it like a very happy album, but sometimes you think it's so melancholic. Just my opinion.

thanks to timbaland volta have 3 failed songs , in Earth Intruders bjork sing like a slut, in Innocence the beats are like britney spears and hope sound boring. my favorite song is Declare Independence, i liked the noisy beats.

Vertebrae By Vertebrae suffers from mistagging; when Volta leaked, it was tagged as "Vertabrae By Vertabrae". And Volta is not her best (Post and Homogenic are better for me), but it's still the one I listen to the most. It had five singles for a reason; it's a very intense album (most of it anyway) and acessible enough for you to appreciate its intensity.

The more and more I listen to this album the more and more I love it. It's taken... well I'll be frank, A LONG WHILE to really sink in but now that I'm listening to it, it's really quite amazing. Although I must say, the Mark Bell mix of I see who you are is WAY better than the original. The beat adds so much more to the song. I find the original a tad to bubbly all over the place and a bit unfocused.

WeepingRockRock - taste is such a funny thing. Pagan Poetry and Hidden Place, dismissed as being shit by you, are two of my all time favourite tracks by any artist. I have only just got Volta and I am listening to it for the first time. So far, by the end of Wanderlust, this all seems a bit frantic. I am not sure what my initial thoughts or reactions are towards this album.

If Innocence and Hope were cut, and the rest of the tracks were fine tuned just a bit more, Volta would be one of my favourite albums. That being said, there's still a fair bit to enjoy (Wanderlust, Vertebrae by Vertebrae, and Pneumonia in particular).

I haven't heard this for over a year, just yesterday I finally got to see DR9 and remind me of Vertebrae by Vertebrae, now I find that tune really powerful and sticky, anyway I don't like the album much, I wish next one is better than this a Medúlla...
