2. What was the first song you ever heard by 23? Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds-- "No More Shall We Part". I heard it on the radio with my dad. He made a comment about how he thought it was aweful, but inside, I was thinking, 'Holy shit, this is awesome!"

3. What’s your favorite lyric by 33? Michael Gira-- Not counting the songs he's re-recorded solo from his other bands, I'll say from "Surrogate" "The voice in my head is Jesus Christ"

4. What is your favorite album by 49? David Bowie-- Definitely Scary Monsters. "Ashes to Ashes" was my first ever favorite Bowie song.

5. How many albums by 13 do you own? Noir Désir-- 7 - All 6 studio albums and En Public.

6. What is your favorite song by 50? Voltaire-- Either "Dunce" or "Cantina"

7. Is there a song by 40 that makes you sad? Collide-- No, their sound is too full of sexual energy to be sad

8. What is your favorite album by 15? Neutral Milk Hotel-- In the Aeroplane Over the Sea without a doubt - it's one of the best albums I've ever heard.

9. What is your favorite song by 5? Neko Case-- Tough one. Right now I'll say "Hold On, Hold On"

11. What is your favorite album by 10? Nine Inch Nails-- The Downward Spiral. I have a soft spot for massive works, though, so The Fragile is close, as is Year Zero.

12. What is your favorite song by 39? Android Lust-- Possibly "Kingdom of One". Though "Dragonfly" is great.

13. What is a good memory you have involving 31? Bella Morte-- Laura in high school not thinking I listened to Goth bands, but then finding out I had just been to see these guys, which remains one of the best goth shows I've seen.

14. What is your favorite song by 38? Akron/Family-- Either "One Spring Morning" or "Dylan Part II".

15. Is there a song by 19 that makes you happy? The Cure-- A great deal of it, but especially "The Lovecats".

16. How many times have you seen 16 live? Devendra Banhart-- None, and though I'd like to, if I did, I don't thin I'd ever be able to get the weed smell out of my hair.

17. What is the first song you ever heard by 22? Cocteau Twins-- "Evangeline", and I didn't like it, but then I bought one of their other albums because I got that song confused with The Mission's "Evangeline".

18. What is your favorite album by 11? Low-- Trust - it's one of the darkest albums I own.

21. What is a good memory involving 27? Pigface-- Having Martin Atkins lecture my production class and berate me for dreaming of starting a label.

29. What was the first song you ever heard by 32? Rozz Williams & Gitane Demone-- "Flowers". I was stunned at how beautifully Rozz had matured in his writing.

30. What is your favorite song by 8? Radiohead-- "Climbing Up The Walls" - One of the Gothiest songs by a non-Goth band ever.

31. How many times have you seen 17 live? Sigur Rós-- Once - purely transcendental. It remains the best show I've ever seen.

32. Is there a song by 44 that makes you happy? The Smashing Pumpkins-- Not anymore. I'm pissed at Billy Corgan for sucking so bad.

33. What is your favorite album by 36? Marilyn Manson-- Antichrist Superstar. "Mechanical Animals" is a close second.

34. What is the worst song by 12? Christian Death-- Assuming we entirely ignore Valor's output, I'll say the entire "The Iron Mask" album.

35. What was the first song you ever heard by 34? Modest Mouse-- I'm ashamed to admit it, but "Float On" is responsible for my foray into indie rock.

36. What is your favorite album by 47? The Sisters of Mercy-- Floodland - Goth bombast at its best.

37. How many times have you seen 42 live? Muse-- Once. They fracking rocked.

38. What is your favorite song by 46? Neko Case and Her Boyfriends-- Funny I should get this same question twice for Neko, but it'll have to be "Furnace Room Lullaby".

39. What was the first song you ever heard by 28? The Decemberists-- Once again, a lead-off track - "The Infanta".

40. What is your favorite album by 7? Tom Waits-- Well shit, I guess Real Gone or Bone Machine.

43. What is your favorite song by 41? The Deadfly Ensemble-- As great as their music is, it HAS to be "Patented Deadfly Ensemble Double Album Commentary".

44. What is a good memory you have involving 45? Lacuna Coil-- Selling their CDs while working the show when they opened for Rob Zombie, and then working their autograph session and finding out just how short Cristina Scabbia is.

45. What is your favorite song by 35? Goldfrapp-- "Human" or "Strict Machine".

46. Is there a song by 9 that makes you happy? Alien Sex Fiend-- Practically all of them.

47. What is your favorite album by 4? The Angels of Light-- How I Loved You trumps all.

48. Who is a favorite member of 37? Porcupine Tree-- Um, Steven Wilson is the only member whose name I know

49. What is the first song you ever heard by 43? Emilie Autumn-- "Thank God I'm Pretty" - I keep waiting for her to do something even half as good as this song, and I keep on being disappointed.

50. How many albums do you own by 20? Siouxsie and the Banshees-- None, Jupiter's got 'em all, and I'm waiting for a Peepshow remaster.
