Hello Fellow Cadets!

Things are going to be changing around here for Brendan's Band, and I'd like to give you all the heads up.

The New Songs:

Ain't We Famous (Demo Mix), Light Years (Demo Mix), & Do it Twice (Demo Mix) are all tracks from the BRAND NEW FORTHCOMING ALBUM due out Fall 2009. This is just a small taste of what's going on the record, and are not the final mixes. But I thought I'd give you a little taste! ;^P

In other news. Myself, my band, and the BSG Orchestra will be in San Diego rocking out at the House of Blues for the next 3 nights (23rd, 24th, 25th). I hope you can come and support my groups. They are both monumental undertakings...and labors of love love LOVE!

When Will the Work Be Done is a song I wrote for Battlestar Galactica, one of the best shows on TV ever. You will notice this song is available for download-age...for $FREE.99 here So if you're a battlestar fan...you better grab it now. If you're not a battlestar fan, I apologize for the nerdy lyrics. The story behind the song is as follows:

It was originally intended to be in an earlier episode of season 4, and was going to be played in the background at the bar in the Galactica, but they decided it didn't fit in the show, and for good reason. I based the song's tone and arrangement off my brother's (Bear McCreary) version of All Along The Watchtower (for which I did the lead vocal) which was in the finale of Season 3, and the producers felt it was to .

Fast forward a few months to the finale of Season 4. There is a scene in which Adama and Tigh are sitting in an absurd club, complete with obnoxious epileptic lighting and hot stripper chicks. This is where you can hear When Will the Work be Done in the show. It is playing in the background (rather loudly I might add). So the song was saved from obscurity, and is now available for your listening pleasure!! Here are the lyrics for anyone who may be interested:
