I'd Love a re-release, but can't see it happening, at least from what the band says. Good record, agreed with those that say don't judge the music by genre's. I like all the songs, maybe Losing Generation and Dichotomy are my favourites.

Lots of bands were making music like this in the 80s, some much more embarrassing than this. It's special because you know they're never gonna make another one like it. "What other punk rock band would have the balls to do something like this just two albums into their career?" Anti-Nowhere League. Their album The Perfect Crime is one of my favourites of all time, and yet it's practically disowned by the band. It was released on CD though.

This is a good album. don't really care about what kind of music a band is SUPPOSED to make, as long as the music is good. I've never been a hardcore fan of any band so I don't have to take it personally if a "punk" band releases a proge album like this.

It's obvious that this has nothing to do with punk rock, but it's still a good rock, or electronic rock, or whatever, album. And of course it has the spirit of the genius of BR, and well, i think that Into the Unknown is still maybe above No Substance and New America. And... I can imagine that I'm not the only one who thinks it.

So un-punk it's punk. Seriously. What other punk rock band would have the balls to do something like this just two albums into their career? "Billy Gnosis" and "It's Only Over When..." are two of the best songs the band have ever written.

Being since is was 14 years old a big BR fan, still over the last ten years i've been listening to a lot more other music than punk, most progessive rock, electronic stuff etc. Now, first listen at this rare gem, I most say I'm really impressed, very 70ish prog :) Bad Religion really is a diverse, musically great (punk) rock band. I like that they implemented synthesizers in this album :)
