    Chetes - Blanco Fácil

I think this may be the first album in a foreign language (apart from some Celine Dion which I bought for my wife. My Wife! Don't judge me!)

It's odd, I love a good lyric and could happily quote them all day but a complete lack of understanding in what's being said in these songs doesn't in any way detract from the lovely sunshine pop.

Auto Interiors - Let's Agree To Deceive Our Best Friends

I really wasn't fully taken with this album on first listen. It wasn't that I didn't like it, but it just didn't make a huge impact. But on repeated listens there were two tracks that really grew on me. "I suppose" and "Science failed me". Which leads me to the current point of: "Why didn't I love it in the first place?"

    McFly - Wonderland

Ok, it's only been a couple of listens but I have to say this may be the dullest album i've listened to in a long time.

I don't want to damn the album with faint praise, but it's nice. It's an album to put on whilst you're eating with friends. It's much full of nice songs which don't push themselves into the foreground.

I've been browsing MySpace for new music. I've enjoyed the following.

    "I suppose" by Auto Interiors

Good guitar pop which should be played loud.

"Mary" by A Band Called Delicious

Self described as : "A threesome between Juliana Hatfield, Ben Folds and John Mayer's more masculine older brother"

    "Into you" by Maggie Kubley

I've been falling into a trap of comparing too many "women at a piano" to Tori Amos. Here's another.

"It take time" by Placeeeeebo (or perhaps by someone else)

A simple piano line to throw you off balance and it then kicks into the beginning of something that wouldn't sound of out of place as the soundtrack for the world's happiest Western. Just sounds likes it was great fun to make (and I mean that in the best way).
