Rock Hard festival – 29, 30 & 31 mei 2009-07-13

Line up: Saxon, Opeth, Jag Panzer, Jon Oliva’s Pain, Children Of Bodom, Sacred Reich, Heathen, UFO, Witchburner, Forbidden, Dragonforce, Bullet, Destroyer 666, Angelwitch, Hail Of Bullets, Prong, Tracedawn, Evocation, Audrey Horne, Grand Magus, Firewind, D.A.D.

On Friday morning we moved to the beautiful location of the Amphitheater in Gelsenkirchen to enjoy 3 days of good music, cold beer and a hot sun.
It was for me the third time to visit this festival.
After we put up our tents and had a little bbq with some cold beer we went to the festival area.


FRIDAY:

At 3 o clock WITCHBURNER opened the festival with some old skool thrash that remembered me right away to Destruction.
They gave a good show so the festival opened very well.
ANGEL WITCH was next up, the oldies from the sixties gave a descent show.
I was happy to have seen them live once.
DESTROYER 666 was up but too bad they had a very bad day cause the music wasn’t come out as they bring their music in a normal concerthall.
PRONG was boring, after 3 songs we were moving fast to the beertent.
JAG PANZER came today to bring us some good heavy metal.
The sound was very good and I had no complaints about the setlist.
From opener Chain Of Command the heads went up and down.
Songs as Future Shock, The Mission, Iron Eagle, Take To The Sky and Licensed To Kill were thrown to the public.
It was really a fantastic show and Opeth had a big job to beat this.
Headliner of today was OPETH.
The setting was very nice with beautiful background images on a big screen while the sun came slowly down and people on the other side of the river slowly faded away ion the dark.
The atmosphere was very good.
Opeth opened with Heir Apparant from their latest album.
Other songs that came by were Blackwater Park, The Leper Affinity en The Night And The Silent Water.
After 90 minutes of looking to a wonderful show the night has come to an end and it was time to party some more and go to sleep.

SATERDAY:

The first band today was EVOCATION and that was boring so time to drink beer.
GRAND MAGUS I never heard before but they played some nice music, a combo of heavy and doom metal with 3 man.
I think this band would even play better in a concert hall.
AUDREY HORNE I also didn’t know and that I wanna keep it that way.
The members played in several other famous bands but that doesn’t mean that this band makes good music, they suck.
HAIL OF BULLETS were represent Holland.
They gave a good show with nice moshpit.
Finally some serious headbanging.
I was kinda looked out on DRAGONFORCE the last years but they surprised be today with a very good energic show.
The sound was good and they played very well.
Songs that came by were Heroes Of Our Time Valley Of The Damned en Through The Fire And The Flames.
It was nice to watch these guys gave all.
FORBIDDEN were here to let us hear some thrash metal.
The sound was very loud but I didn’t care that much cause it was very clear.
Ofcrouse a moshpit was formed quickly.
I heard songs as als Step By Step, Forbidden Evil, Follow Me, R.I.P. en March Into Fire.
It was a very good show.
Finally JON OLIVA’S PAIN were going to play.
Something I looked forward to cause their last concert some years ago was fantastic.
As good as than it would probably not going to be, what would you expect from an open air show but still they gave a hell of a show.
They were the best band of the day.
They play a lot of Savatage classics like Sirens, Gutter Ballet, Jesus Saves, Hall Of The Mountain King and City Beneath The Surface.
It was great to see these guys again and watch a wonderful concert.
CHILDREN OF BODOM was pretty good as long as the singer shut his mouth.
Good to hear some older songs like Hate Me, Angels Don’t Kill and Downfall.
So this was a nice day. With some good bands

SUNDAY:

The finnish band TRACEDAWN was the opening of today and they were certainly the youngest band, I would guess some people between the 18 and 20.
They brought nothing new but what they played was good, the music were finland is famous for.
FIREWIND was a band to fall asleep, what a boring music, good that they believe themselves its good, I say: time to drink beer.
BULLET plays typical german heavy metal but surprisingly enough these guys came from Sweden.
The music they played you have heared hundred times before but they played a very well show.
D.A.D. was the worst band of the whole festival.
Everything about their show sucked, what a waste of those 10 minutes I watched them.
HEATHEN were there to let me forgot them and they did with a fantastic show.
Heathen were on fire and quickly they was a passive moshpit in the front and were a pit is is a circle pit.
The sound was very good and they fired songs as Hypnotized, Dying Season, Open The Grave en Death By Hanging on us all.
This was a great show.
UFO is like Angel Witch an old band that is really cool to watch 1 time in your life live.
So this was it and they played some pretty good hard rock but it is not that I should listen something of them.
They played well
SACRED REICH was the second thrash band for today and the second time for me to see them live.
It was time to do some headbanging on songs as Independent, Ignorance, Death Squad en The American Way.
I really enjoyed this show.
Finally it was 21.30h.
SAXON came up with their eagle.
I was full of energy for this show, Saxon is always awesome live.
From opener Battalions Of Steel the crowdsurfers came from everywhere.
It was a beautiful sight.
Other songs they played from their latest album were Demon Sweeney Todd and Valley Of The Kings.
From than on it was a classic set full of eighties classics.
Heavy Metal Thunder, Strong Arm Of The Law, Motorcycle Man, Power & The Glory 20.000 Ft, The Eagle Has Landed, Wheels Of Steel, Denim And Leather, Dallas 1 Pm, And The Bands Played On, Live To Rock and the wonderful Princes Of The Night came all along.
I singed them all along with some air guitar.
What a great show they played again.
Saxon was the absolute highlight of the festival.


So after 3 days of beer drinking and burning in the sun it was time to go home.

Thu 9 Jul – Masters of Rock 2009

Tento rok som sa tešil na MoR hlavne kvôli mojej najobľúbenejšej skupine už od strednej školy, Nightwish-u, už dosť dlho bol môj sen vidieť ich.

Štvrtok:
Prvý deň mal byť podľa programu jednoznačne najlepší, poznal som z neho 3 skupiny, a to headlinerov Nightwish, nemeckých In Extremo a český Nil. Ale poďme od začiatku.
Prvá skupina ktorú sme videli boli nemci In Extremo, na ktorých som sa veľmi tešil. Koncert bol naozaj veľmi vydarený, škoda len že hitovku, a moju obľúbenú od nich - Frei zu sein dali tak skoro, už druhú v poradí. Ale aj tak koncert len gradoval, dali aj asi ich najznámejšiu - Volmond a už pri konci to vyvrcholilo perfektnou Flaschenpost, doplnené skvelou ohnivou show. Títo folk-metalisti naozaj nesklamali. Nasledovali Rage tiež z Nemecka, na tých sme sa išli ale postaviť do rady na autogram od Nightwishou, žiaľ neúspešne, ľudia sa tam tlačili zo všetkých strán a tak sme veľa šancí nemali, išli sme si aspoň obsadiť čo najlepšie miesto na vytúžený dlhoočakávaný koncert. Nightwish so skvelou Anette, ktorá má teraz blonďavé vlasy začali svoju show trochu prekvapivo skladbou 7 Days to the Wolves, koncert bol naozaj nezabudnuteľný, Anette zvládala aj staršie najväčšie hity ako Nemo, Wish I Had An Angel alebo Wishmaster. Dokonca hrali aj pomalšie veci, nie každému sa všek Anetino trochu iné podanie tradičných hitov páčilo, a pár ľudí aj odchádzalo. To mi však nepokazilo celkovo perfektný dojem z koncertu, určite jedného z najlepších akých som kedy videl, ak nie úplne najlepšieho.

Playlist: 7 Days to the Wolves,Dead To The World, The Siren, Amaranth, Romanticide, Wishmaster, Sahara, Nemo, The Poet and the Pendulum, Dead Boys Poem, Escapist, Dark Chest of Wonders, Wish I Had An Angel ( niesom si úplne istý poradím, ale viem že tieto hrali)

Po Nightwishi sme boli takí zničení, že poslednú kapelu sme si nechali ujsť.

Piatok: Piatkový program nesľuboval nič mne známe, a nakoniec to bol aj jednoznačne najslabší deň MoR. Prvý koncert dňa mali na svedomí švédi Blowsight, výzorom Emáci a hudbou tiež taký pop-punk-rock zahrali celkom dobrý koncert, dokonca dali aj cover piesne od Britney Spears - Toxic, síce som ju spoznal až pri poslednom refréne, ale aj tak je to odvaha. Kapely ktoré nasledovali asi nemá zmysel menovať, lebo ma vôbec nezaujali, väčšinou death-trash metal, ktorý teda vôbec nemusím. Za zmienku stojí možno česká kapela Kreyson, hard rock s frontmanom Láďou Křížkem, ktorý sa trochu vymykali štýlom, tiež ale som z ních nič nemal. Večer sľuboval fínskych Korpiklaani, folk-power metalovú kapelu, ktorá chodí pravidelne každý rok, a to každý rok s novým albumom ale takmer rovnakým playlistom. Mňa to už dosť nudí, ale ostatní fanúšikovia sa bavili. Power metalový DragonForce z Anglicka boli pre mňa sklamaním, aj keď veľa som od nich ani nečakal, tento štýl tiež nie je pre mňa, a to som išiel pozrieť aj na sekundárnu Coca Cola stage kde hrali nádejné mladé české kapely, mala tam hrať Evarest, so ženskou speváčkou v čele. Táto skupina hrala ale strašne tvrdý metal, nehovoriac o tom, že speváčku nebolo ani počuť. Keď ani headlineri Edguy ma nezaujali a ja som išiel radšej do stanu ako ich počúvať začal som pochybovať, či je tento festival naozaj pre mňa.

Sobota:
Sobotný program pre nás začal mladými nemcami Kissin Dynamite, ktorý výzorovo aj hudobne sa veľmi podobali na kapelu Bon Jovi. Ich hard rock nebol ničím výnimočný, ale predsa sa to počúvať dalo, s tým, že spevák robil naozaj show, a ich hitovka I hate hiphop ( s týmto názvom sa samozrejme nestotožňujem ) rozpálila celé publikum. Po tomto koncerte som začínal veriť že to bude lepšie. Češi Mňága a Žďorp boli fajn, trochu odľahčenia nezaškodilo. Po nich nasledovali 3 kapely, ktoré ma tiež nezaujali. A to už sme sa tešili na prvú a asi aj poslednú čisto ženskú kapelu - Crucified Barbara, pozostávajúca zo 4 dievčat, ktoré ako moderátorka uviedla "nie sú žiadne kresťanské holčičky, a poriadne nám to natrú" :D Ináč moderátorka bola stále veľmi smiešna, hlavne keď hovorila mená členov skupín, a ani ich nevedela prečítať, dokonca ani členov Nightwish :D Holky boli naozaj hot, a hrali aj celkom dobre, tak sme neváhali si ísť aj pre autogramy. Večer som dal prednosť Cola Cola stageu, boli tam už známy Dying Passion, pre mňa najlepší koncert celého dvojdnia piatok-sobota. Fíni Stratovarius mali byť veľkou hviezdou, vyšiel im nový album s názvom Polaris, avšak u mňa zaostali za očakávaním, po prvej hitovke Hunting High and Low prišli len obyčajné skladby s obyčajnou atmosférou, jednoducho priemerné vystúpenie. Headlineri Blind Guardian mi náladu nezlepšili, ich vychválené vystúpenia do nebies sa nezopakovali na Masters of Rock a tak som radšej išiel zase do stanu :D

Nedeľa:
Tak konečne deň na ktorý som sa aj tešil. Vstávali sme skoro, aby sme stihli prvú kapelu z Česka, Innocens, ktorý hrajú gothic electronic rock a hoci ich speváčka nie je až taká pekná bolo to naozaj pekné vystúpenie s chytľavými melódiami. Takýto štýl by som si predstavoval. Po nich prišli na rad Interitus, nám už tiež známa kapela, predstavovali svoj novinkový album, a takisto to bol pekný zážitok. Audrey Horne z Nórska potom boli len slabý odvar oproti týmto mladým českým kapelám. Dosť sme sa tešili na Švajčiarov Eluveitie, folk metalovú kapelu. U mňa boli ale veľkým sklamaním, hlavne kvôli death metalovému vokálu speváka. Trochu prekvapením bolo zaradenie kapely tleskač, žánru SKA, ktorý sa tu naozaj nevidí často. Ďalšej folk metalovej kapele, tentokrát z Nemecka som už veľmi neveril, ale išiel som pozrieť. A veru sa oplatilo, Schandmaul, kapela štýlom veľmi podobná In Extremo, len s oveľa chytľavejšími peckami rozskákala publikum. Prelomová bola skladba Vogelfrei pri ktorej skákal hádam každý vrátane mňa. Toto bol naozaj zážitok hodný takéhoto festivalu, na ktorý som čakal dlhé 3 dni. Predposledná Der letzte Tanz to len potvrdila, skákacia melódia úplne perfektne sadla. A tak sa Schandmaul dočkali zaslúžených ovácii. Naozaj pre mňa určite najväčšie prekvapenie festivalu, a s Nightwishom súperiaci dokonca o najlepšie vystúpenie celkom!!! Veľmi odporúčam :) Nasledujúcu death metalovú kapelu preskočím, a po autogramiáde úžasných Schandmaul prišli na rad Nemci s českou speváčkou na čele, Die Happy. Skupina, ktorú veľa ľudí nemá rado zahrala naozaj výborne. Skladby z nového albumu VI sa super počúvali a aj pri tejto kapele sme si zaskákali, na frontmanku Martu Jandovú naozaj nemôžem povedať nič zlé, bola úžasná. Headlinerov večera som opäť vynechal, a išiel pozrieť Coca cola stage na ktorom boli Free Fall, zrazu sa objavila aj speváčka Monika, a už som vedel že sa mi budú páčiť. Ich štýl sa dal ťažko určit, rock s dávkou elektroniky, trochu gothic. Ale veľmi dobre sa počúvali a bola to už tretia skupina na ktorej som si schuti zaskákal. Nehovoria o tom, že ako prídavok kvôli skandovaniu fanúšikov dali od Madonna - Frozen, a bolo to perfektné. Celkovo veľmi veľa hlavne menších kapiel si veľmi pochvalovalo atmosféru a divákov na MoR. Posledná kapela pre mňa boli češi - Memoria. Dala by sa zaradiť ku symphonic rocku, aj keď tej symfoniky veľa nebolo, jedny husle. Aj keď mali aj slabšie momenty, poslednými 3 peckami to naozaj roztočili a samozrejme 4. kapela so skákaním, a za 1 deň, čo viac si priať :))

Celkovo hodnotím tento ročník ako celkom v pohode, hlavne kvôli skvelým mojim najobľúbenejším Nightwish, perfektným objavom Schandmaul a sľubným českým kapelám. Piatok a sobota boli pre mňa dosť slabé dni a pár krát som mal takú chuť ísť na nejakú dance párty :D Ale už len kvôli nedeľnému programu plnému zábavy to bol dobrý festival. Možno nie som fanúšik úplne všetkých druhov tejto tvrdej hudby, ale určite som rockový fanúšik aj naďalej. Jedno čo nemám rád sú veľmi príšerne rýchle bubny a gitary. Naopak mám rád chytľavé skákavé melódie a pekné ženské speváčky s ešte krajším hlasom :)

Thu 9 Jul – Masters of Rock 2009

Tak som sa po roku opäť vybrala na MOR. V stredu ráno sme s priateľom zakempovali a približne 24 hodín čakali až to "vypukne", resp. otvoria areál.

Štvrtok

Okolo obeda sme sa dostali do areálu, kde sa oproti minulému roku na prvý pohľad nič výrazne nezmenilo. Bungee-jumping bol inde (v prípade nehody by ste nedopadli na betón ale na hlinu) :-D, pribudla druhá stage, druhá obrazovka, vraj aj nejaké úpravy pri lese, ale tam som minulý rok nebola, takže neviem.

Ako prvá kapela sa na pódiu ukázali Bethrayer. Minuoročný Rattle Bucket to otvorili lepšie. Ale boli fajn, i keď tento žáner až tak moc nemusím. (7/10)
Druhou kapelou na hlavnom stage boli Nil kde žasnem nad hlasom speváčky. Awesome (8/10).
Po nich oslávila osemdesiatku Jarmila Šuláková s Fleret (7/10). Tu sme ostali len na začiatku, porobili pár fotiek a vybrali sa za kámoškou. Vypsaná fiXa bola prvá kapela ktorú som nevidela.



O pol ôsmej sa na pódiu ukázala prvá zahraničná kapela a to In Extremo (8/10). Nikdy som ich nepočula, ale predsa len ma tam polhodinku udržali. Potom som však uprednostnila Coca-Cola stage s českými kapelami Seven a po nich Six Degrees of Separation. Obe moc dobré (8/10), vidno že v čechách sú talenty.

Ešte k tým dvom stage. MOR sa mi minulý rok páčil práve preto že bola len jedna. Chcela som spoznať všetky české kapely takže pol koncert tam a pol tam nebolo zrovna to najlepšie riešenie ale niekedy si som si naozaj nechcela nechať ujsť niekoho z hlavnej stage. No ale podarilo sa, i keď na celé vystúpenie som bola len na fantastických Shockwave ktorý ma bavili viac než Rage a ich live som si naozaj užívala, dokonca z prvej rady - 10/10)

Takže ako som spomínala Rage ma moc nebavili (7/10) zato Shockwave boli amazing.

Jedenásta hodina patrila "headlinerovi" (pre mňa boli headliner HSB, KoK a BG) a to fínom Nightwish. Proti Anette nič nemám, popravde som NW začala počúvať až keď prišla do kapely ona. Nikdy som nepočula Tarju na živo takže porovnávať v tomto nebudem. Aj keď na ňu skoro všetci nadávali (no pozitívnych ohlasov som počula fakt málo), mne sa celkom páčili (i keď Wishmaster odspievala strašne). Marco, Emppu a Tuomas to zachránili. Keby však mám možnosť vidieť ich znova tak asi by som nešla (8/10).



Shaman so zlínskym orchestrom a tureckým dirigentom som síce vidieť chcela, ale zima nás zahnala do stanu. Nejako som tušila že ten orchester sa bude dlho ladiť. A ak sa mi to nesnívalo tak aj začali hrať s hodinovým oneskorením. Počula som tak dve pesničky, potom buď prestali alebo som zaspala :-D

Piatok

Callejon pre zranenie neprišli, takže hrať sa začalo až pred druhou hodinou. Deň otvorili Blowsight. Kapelu nepoznám, takže prvý dojem bol "to je emo?". No ale hrať hrali dobre, deň dobre začali, a mám pocit že kapela sa neskôr aj prechádzala po areáli (také vlasy tam nemal každý takže nebolo až tak ťažké ich nevidieť).



S menším oneskorením a s krátkym hracím časom vystúpili krátko po tretej nóri Keep of Kalessin. Pre mňa jednoznačne najlepšie vystúpenie. Fakt škoda že hrali tak krátko a nemali autogramiádu. Ľudí na nich spočiatku moc nebolo takže sme sa predrali do druhej rady (prvú od rána do polnoci okupovali fanúšikovia Edguy. Len jedno sklamanie, a to securiťák. Prečo keď je povolené na festivale fotiť tak ľudom vpredu to zakazoval? Video som netočila, to by si bol všimol aj slepý a aspoň z jednej kapely som chcela mať dobré fotky (nakoniec ich mám aj tak najviac, 123 pozeratelných). Každopádne, na Keep of Kalessin pôjdem kľudne ešte veľa krát (11/10).



Po KoK nasledovali ďalší češi - Kreyson. Dve pesničky, pár záberov a išli sme do stanu. Moc ma teda neoslovili 6/10

Vrátili sme sa na Death Angel. Nádhera, výborná show, skvelý spev a úžasné gitari. 10/10



Po nich nasledovali kanaďania Kataklysm. Ostali sme tak 20 minút, moc nás to nebavilo. Nehovorím že boli zlý, ale nejak ma nechytili. 7/10

Počas Korpiklaani spŕchlo, ale to nikomu nevadilo, show ako sa od nich očakáva. Minulý rok boli lepší, možno preto, že vtedy sa mi podarilo dostať do kotla, kdežto tento rok tam už bolo narvané tak sme ostali len na kraji 9/10. Nachvílku som si odbehla podporiť čechov Bed Sores a po nich x-left to die na Coca-Cola Stage (8/10).

Vrátili sme sa až na DragonForce. Kapelu som doposiaľ nepoznala, ale podobne ako ma minulý rok milo prekvapili Engel, tento rok to boli práve DragonForce. 9/10

Pred headlinerom dnešného dňa, nemcami Edguy sme ešte behli na Evarest 8/10.

O jedenástej sa dočkali tí, čo vpredu sedeli už od rána. Ale mňa Edguy bavili tiež, nevadila mi ani tá zima ani fakt, že stojím na zábradlí o ktorom som bola presvedčená že do konca MORu nevydrží - ale nakoniec vydržalo (tie stredné schody ktoré viedli do "voňavého lesíka" ako to jeden nazval). Kapela ma nesklama, ba priam naopak. A aj Tobias sa mi zdal že ho to baví :-D



Počkali sme si aj na Deathstars ale vydržali sme len dve-tri pesničky. Než skončili úplne, už sme spali.

Sobota

Chválim organizátorov že sa začalo hrať už pred obedom. Ale aj tak sme prvé dve kapely, čechov Gate Crasher a Už jsem doma nevideli. Na vine sú fronty u Alberta a naša lenivosť privstať si :-D. Tak snáď niekedy inokedy.

O dvanástej sme už behli pozrieť na Kissin' Dynamite. Docela mladý chalani ale dačo v nich je. A keďže bolo treba nabiť baterku do foťáku tak sme ostali po celý čas (8/10).



Ďalší češi, Mňága a Ždorp, roztancovali pár ľudí pred nami, mne osobne sa moc nelúbili, ale aspoň jednu pesničku som od nich poznala (dačo o pražskom metre). (7/10)

O druhej vystúpili Legion of the Damned. Kapelu nepoznám, na MORe ma nejako moc nechytili, takže keď sa nám niekedy po druhej pesničke nabila baterka išli sme už ani neviem kam :-D. (7/10)

Vrátili sme sa na koniec Axxis. Ani tí ma nebavili (6/10). Švédky Crucified Barbara ktoré nasledovali po nich boli rozhodne lepšie (8,5/10).

Najlepšie kapely toho dňa však začali hrať až po nich. Jednak to boli všetky tri kapely na Coca-Cola Stage: Dying Passion, Endless a Crashpoint, a potom to boli aj tri kapely na hlavnom stage.

Ako prvá, švédi Evergrey. Poznám ich vďaka priatelovi, ale začnem ich už počúvať aj ja. Nádhera (10/10). Po nich vystúpili fíni Stratovarius. Jedným slovom báseň aj keď bez Tolkkiho (10/10). No a o jedenástej Blind Guardian, pre mnohých headliner festivalu. Tuna platí že "jedenkrát vidieť je lepšie ako tisíckrát počuť".



Tiamat som prespala a tým sa stali poslednou kapelou na MORe ktorú som nevidela :-).

Nedela

Pre mnohých posledný deň festivalu. My sme však odchádzali až v pondelok ráno, takže v nedelu som videla všetky kapely. Tie na Coca-Cola stage opäť ukázali že češi vedia robiť kvalitnú hudbu. Išlo o kapely Free Fall, Memoria a posledný Street Machine (9/10). Škoda, kvalitný program bol aj na hlavnom stage, takže ani u jednej som nevidela celé vystúpenie.

Hlavná stage už hneď ráno ukázala dve výborné (ako inak české) kapely. Najprv to boli Innocens a po nich nasledovali Interitus (10/10).

Pred obedom vystúpil Audrey Horne z Nórska. Zahral kvalitný rock a ostali sme aj napriek stúpajúcemu hladu a teplu. (10/10).



Po ňom nasledovali švajčiari Eluveitie. Mám pocit že sú v čechách častejšie než doma :-D. Boli výborný, i keď na heidenfeste sa mi páčili viac. A veľké plus majú u mňa (a určite nielen u mňa) za to že keď sme ich stretli v areáli počas Schandmaul tak sa pofotili s každým kto za nimi prišiel.

Tleskáč bola v mojich očiach najhoršia kapela na MORe (1/10).

Po nich však prišli Schandmaul, čo je pre mňa druhý objav z MORu. (9/10). Krásna hudba, a krásne šaty ženskej časti kapely :-D.

O pol piatej začali Heaven Shall Burn. Druhá najlepšia kapela na MORe (10,5/10). A asi aj najlepšia komunikácia kapely s publikom.

Die Happy ma nikdy nebavili, resp. počula som jednu pesničku na youtube a to mi bohate stačilo (2/10). Priatel spravil pár fotiek a šli sme do stanu. Vrátili sme sa na kanaďanov Voivod, ale tí nas tiež nejako moc nebavili, takže sme išli na Coca-Cola Stage.

Samozrejme Arch Enemy sme si nemohli nechať ujsť, najmä teda priateľ. Ale ostala som aj ja, a nelutujem. A malé bezvýznamné plus má u mňa Angela za to, že na tričku mala napísané Masters of Rock (9/10).



Festival zakončila švédska legenda Europe. Vydržali sme tak do jedenástej, či fakt spievali The Final Countdown to neviem, už som spala :-D

Veľké poďakovanie patrí ľudom čo čistili ToiToi. Tento rok som mala to šťastie že vždy keď som ich potrebovala, tak boli čerstvo umyté. A mám pocit že oproti minulému roku fakt chodili častejšie.
Taktiež upratovanie bolo na dobrej úrovni (nám dokonca niekto, zrejme ukradol, odpadky čo sme mali vedľa stanu).
Samozrejme vďaka Pragokoncertu za to že to zorganizoval a všetkým kapelám ktoré predviedli výbornú show.

Spravila som circa dva a pol tisíca fotiek, tie pozeratelné su na myspace ktorý som vytvorila len pre túto príležitosť, takže keď tak klikajte sem.
Kľudne zanechajte koment alebo pošlite request. Možno sa nájdete v vo fotkách v priečinku "Find Yourself" :)

Rada by som povedala že o rok zase, ale s priatelom sme si povedali že zmena je život, takže o rok skúsime niečo iné.

Fr., 29. Mai. – RockHard Festival 2009

Vorbemerkung: Dieser Bericht ist in zwei Teile gegliedert. Zuerst werde ich die einzelnen Bands bewerten. Anschließend werde ich das Drumherrum kommentieren.

Freitag

Witchburner: Ein furioser Anfang. Ein gelungener Auftritt.

Angel Witch: Eine Band, auf die ich mich gefreut hatte, da ich sie schon häufiger gehört hatte. Der Auftritt war gut und das Lied Angel Witch brachte zum ersten Mal Stimmung ins Amphitheater.

Deströyer 666: Eine eher dem black metal zuzurechnende Band. Nicht so mein Ding. Ich fand den Auftritt mittelmäßig.

Prong: Die erste Band, die mich wirklich begeistert hat. Musikalisch große Klasse.

Jag Panzer: Diese Power-Metal-Band hat mich wohl nicht so fasziniert, denn an deren Auftritt habe ich nur noch schemenhafte Erinnerungen (obwohl ich nüchtern war).

Opeth: Super Videoshow, aber musikalisch konnten sie mich nicht überzeugen, denn ich finde, dass Progressive nichts für die Bühne ist.

Sonnabend:

Evocation: Die konnte ich nicht sehen, da ich zu der Zeit noch unterwegs zum Festivalgelände war.

Grand Magus: Die habe ich ebenfalls noch nicht gesehen, da ich da noch etwas an Fressbuden gegessen habe.

Audrey Horne: Die haben ihre Sache ganz gut gemacht. Nichts überragendes, nicht schlechtes.

Hail of Bullets: Es gilt das gleiche wie für Audrey Horne

DragonForce: Eine sehr dynamische, witzige Show, die sich vor allem durch die Fitness des Keyboarders und den Sänger, der sich in die Zuschauermenge wagte, auszeichnete.

Forbidden: Ein geiler Auftritt, mit viel Elan

Jon Oliva's Pain: Der Auftritt konnte mich lediglich dazu bewegen nach ungefähr der Hälfte zu den Fressbuden zu gehen.

Children of Bodom: Der Beste Auftritt des Festivals. Geile Lichtshow, gute Musik, einfach perfekt.

Sonntag:

Tracedawn: Konnte ich wieder nicht sehen, da ich noch unterwegs war.

Firewind: Diese Band ich nur zur Hälfte gesehen. Aber dafür haben sie mich überzeugt.

Bullet: Mit diesem Auftritt war ich zufrieden.

D-A-D: Diese Band habe ich eher dem alternative rock, allenfalls dem fun metal zugeordnet. Ein witziger, guter Auftritt. Trotzdem gehören sie für mich immernoch in die oben genannten Kategorien. (Womöglich die Quoten-Alternative-Rocker

Heathen: Dieser Auftritt hat mich nicht überzeugen können, denn ich bin dabei kurzzeitig eingenickt.

UFO: Auf die habe ich mich richtig gefreut. Leider war der Auftritt nicht gut. Unambitioniert und sie haben Doctor, doctor nicht gespielt.

Sacred Reich: Dieser Auftritt hat mich nicht so sehr überzeugen können. Ich war eher damit beschäftigt, die Arbeit von den Securities zu beobachten.

Der Karaoke-Gewinner-Jam: Das hat Spaß gemacht, zuzusehen. Da haben einige Besucher selbst Metal-Klassiker interpretiert. Endlich konnten ALLE mitsingen, denn JEDER auf dem Festival kannte Back in Black, Painkiller und vor allem Fear of the Dark.

Saxon: Eigentlich hatte ich keine Lust auf die. Aber ich bin trotzdem geblieben. Obwohl ich nur schräg zur Bühne saß, macht der Auftritt mir trotzdem viel Freude. Allerdings konnte ich die Begeisterung wegen des Adlers nicht nachvollziehen. Aber egal.



Bewertung des Drumherum

Verkehrsanbindung: Könnte kaum besser, zumal Abends nach dem Headliner noch extra Busse bestellt werden, die direkt zum Bahnhof fahren. Ansonsten besteht auch eine gute Busverbindung.

Fressbuden: Es war für jeden Geschmack eine dabei (Wurst, Döner, Asiatisch). Die Preise waren human.

Merchendise: Diese Preise waren ebenfalls nicht zu teuer.

Security: Sehr freundlich und locker.

Location: Etwas zu sonnig. Eine Schattenzone wäre nicht schlecht gewesen (Ich habe fünf Sonnenbrände davongetragen).

Sound: Der war erste Sahne. Obwohl ich meinen Ohren zu Liebe Ohrstöpsel getragen habe, war der Sound satt und gut zu hören.

Fazit:

Es hat sich gelohnt, denn ich habe selten einen solche Fülle an Bands erlebt, die meisten haben eine gute Show angeliefert. Zudem war der Sound einer der besten, die ich je vernommen haben. Ob ich nächstes Jahr wieder hinfahre weiß ich noch nicht, dass liegt aber daran, dass ich im Herbst aus dem Ruhrgebiet wieder wegziehe und nicht weiß ob ich Zeit hätte. Aber wenn das gegeben ist würde ich auch eine weitere Anreise in Kauf nehmen.
