Parallax is just really boring - most of the stuff he's posted for free on the Deerhunter blog is better. (Mona Lisa was actually posted to the blog under one of the Bedroom Databanks like 2 years ago.) Let The Blind... is still my favorite album of his, Logos also has some really good moments, but Parallax is totally "meh". When Bradford goes acoustic, it's like he just loses everything that made his music interesting. At this point, in terms of Deerhunter side-projects, I'm way more interested in hearing Lockett's next album as Lotus Plaza.
