Ashbury Heights are an electronic music band formed in 2005, in Sundsvall, Medelpad, Sweden. The group’s original line-up was Anders Hagström (male vocals, songwriter, music and programming) & Yasmine Uhlin (vocals). Yasmine left the band after the release of their EP “Morning Star In A Black Car”, and was replaced by Kari Berg (female vocals) who started as the new female vocalist in the end of 2008.

History :
Formation:
Ashbury Heights was born when Anders Hagström asked his former girlfriend Yasmine if she wanted to sing on his demos. The newly formed band reached success very fast when Out of Line chose to sign them.
Yasmine Uhlins departure (2008)
Yasmine announced her departure from the band in November 2008 in Hamburg at the last concert of the Out Of line festival tour.
She explained the departure
“ Why I am doing this is not because of lack of energy or love for the band. There are no grudges to be held and the air within Ashbury Heights is free from any pollution. You see, this is something I have to do. I need to let go in order to build something of my own. I’ve been fighting myself in this matter for a long time but I can’t change what I truly feel. ”

The titles on the backside of the album cover are all written in smallcaps, so it can't be said which letters "should" be captitals or not. However, there is also a four-track promo release of the album, and there Smaller is indeed spelled as "SmAlLer" (http://www.discogs.com/viewimages?release=1659888). Though I have to admit I just tagged it as "Smaller", for the same reasons mentioned below by ayuxx :)

To stay consistent with the fact that none of the rest of their songs have odd capitalizations (like you might see with Japanese bands/artists in particular), I just tag it as "Smaller". "SmAlLer" kind of looks like "smailer". Haha

Love Ashbury Heights. Too bad Yasmine dropped out. She had that neat melancholic touch to her singing. Let's hope Kari does even better though. Can't wait for the new album. :)
