‘Asa’ is the debut album from Nigerian soulstress Asa. Bornin Paris but raised in Lagos this album sees the singer combine the dual identities of African and western sounds. Fromsoul legends Aretha Franklin and Marvin Gaye to artists such as Fela Kuti and Sunny Ade, a wide range of influences make this an inspired and soulful record. Includes the single ‘Fire In The Mountain’.
