Biografia

Apples are from Hereford, England, a shire famous for cider, cattle and more recently Tyrells Vodka!

They came to prominence in 2009 with the release of their debut single ‘Reason 45’. The single managed to garner the band great attention from music industry, media and audiences alike, gaining them features in the NME, Q and the Guardian, comparing them to great acts such as the Beach Boys and Madness. This resulted in the band signing to Universal Music Publishing last summer, enabling them to get to work on writing what will be the debut album.

2010 has been non-stop writing and touring for the band, with appearances in Barcelona and Paris among the most memorable. The five piece recently performed from the BBC Radio 1 live lounge as well as making an a cappella debut on BBC’s 6music.

Tracks of the band being featured on numerous T.V. shows such as The Inbetweeners, Waterloo Road, and Blue Peter have helped build buzz and momentum. The bands second single ‘Theo’ was recently chosen to feature on top selling computer game ‘Pro Evo Soccer 2011’ which has immediately brought worldwide attention to the band.


Apples will be touring Europe with the Wombats next February.
