glowac: It's 4th fret of D, along with 5th fret of A and adding 2nd fret of G, effectively forming a major chord shape. I prefer doing it on lower strings though, personally I find it easier. Then, it would be 10th fret of E, 9th fret of A and an added 7th fret of D. Also, near the end of the strumming pattern it seems to me that he plays the note G twice (10th fret of A), followed by a return to 9th fret.
