Amanda MacKinnon Palmer, nascida em 30 de Abril de 1973 é uma aclamada cantora, pianista e compositora do ‘punk cabaret’ de Massachusetts. Fez parte da banda The Dresden Dolls com o baterista Brian Viglione desde Outubro de 2000. Seus shows continham fantoches, estátuas móveis e outros espetáculos de circo. Em 2008 Amanda se dedicou a um disco solo chamado Who Killed Amanda Palmer.

Ps --- not a huge Nervous Cabaret fan...gotta be honest --- was not feeling the singer AT ALL. Also if you were at the TLA show --- he looks exactly like the guy who works at GENO's overnight who got the crap beat outa him a few years ago and I could NOT get the image outa my head! (if you live in philly you know what I am talking about)

Saw her at TLA last night in Philly ---good show. She is really down-to-earth and yet very inspiring. I mean, what other artist runs around in the balconies playing a yukalaylee, answers personal questions out of a hat, and covers The Ting Tings "Thats not my name" as well as "The house of the rising sun" in one set? She's one of a kind, thats fo sho!
