i love chicago. this was my first venture, and now i plan on living there. bleeding heart bakery, lincoln park zoo, wicker park, millenium park... i love it all. and to top it off , the reason i went was riot fest. kind of like warped tour for bigger, more discerning kids... i only went for two bands. Mighty Mighty Bosstones and All. Both of which were great. We also watched the HorrorPops, who were a big let down. And The Ergs!, who are breaking up? its a shame. they're cute. but man, the bossones and all were great.

1. How did you get into 31?
The Darlings (just fyi, the band that Last FM links this to is NOT the Darlings I listen to)
They're a local band and had added me on Myspace but I never got around to checking them out. A few months later, I found out that they were opening for Social Distortion so I gave them a listen and ended up really liking them. Too bad the show was cancelled and I never got to see them :(

Probably the first song on their album Somery. Because that was the first I'd ever heard of them.
