Sobre este álbum
Old Crows / Young Cardinals é o quarto álbum da banda canadense de post-hardcore, Alexisonfire. Foi lançado em 23 de junho de 2009. Inicialmente o nome do álbum seria apenas “Young Cardinals” em referência a música, até que a mudança do nome foi anunciada em 1 de Abril de 2009. O álbum estreou em #81 na “Billboard 200”, tornando-se o álbum com a melhor posição na tabela americana até então.

this is the first alexisonfire album I've listen too, and to be honest it's better than their previous albums...but that's just my own opinion though.

Alexisonfire was THE band that introduced me to sreaming as music, i loved it, it was screams, and it sounded amazing, but this album, its not as good as old albums, they changed too much for my taste, i still listen to the album, but its not Alexisonfire,

Like the new sound and album, even if I would've liked a mixture of new and old. Some of he new more catchy songs and some old brutal, fast and screamy "alexisonfire-sound", would have been a great album.

@xShadow1: Personally, I don't think so if they're planning to cater to a broader audience (which would be a good thing for any band's continuity). To me, No Rest is the most boring song on the album, and Born and Raised one of the more catchy songs.

very good album. i couldn't stand alexisonfire in their emo/screamo whatever that shit phase was. but this is now new better improved sound. its like a completly new band. now they play... post hardcore. deep lyrics. amazing music. any serious musician would agree with the fact this album is musically amazing!

Born and Raised is going to be the new single. BOOOOORED. Well, i like it alot of course, but for example, No Rest, Sons of Privilege, Accept Crime, Heading For the Sun would've made much better singles than BaR.
