I've been listening to celtic fiddle music for several years now. But this album stands out. The arrangement (fiddle+cello) is simply great. The cello does all the tasks needed to provide a rhythm section. Just two instruments but still this is a complete musical experience, nothing is missing.

I don't know how authentic this arrangement is, sometimes I have the feeling, that they sound quite modern, but I can't explain this (and I am not even sure).
