Since my tastes (and, mainly, the order of the artists) changed a bit since the first time I did it, I'm going to redo it. It will be funny both doing it and comparing results with the old one! And, no, I feel no shame to change tastes so easily. I'm always up to changes if I want to do so!

К концу 2008 во множестве блогов (собственно, как и обычно) стали появляться символические итоги уходящего года. Я такие подводить не хочу - за одним исключением. Правильно, речь пойдёт о музыке (раз уж мы здесь). Итак, несколько мною же придуманных номинаций - лауреат - и несколько претендентов.
1. Песня года: услышанная в канун прошлого нового года песня Within Temptation feat. Keith Caputo What Have You Done.
Претенденты: X-Perience Personal Heaven, Dream Of Love; L'Ame Immortelle Fallen Angel, Amanda Marshall Let It Rain, Coldplay Viva La Vida.
2. Исполнитель года: L'Ame Immortelle. Тут без вариантов.
Претенденты: X-Perience, Within Temptation.
3. Альбом года: их два. X-Perience - Lost In Paradise и Within Temptation - The Heart of Everything. Здесь даже претендентов других нет.
4. Концерт года. За этот год я был на 8 концертах, из них 3 с моим участием на сцене ;) Но тут тоже без вариантов - концерт L'Ame Immortelle в "Точке" 27 сентября был лучшим концертом в моей жизни.
Претенденты: Within Temptation в клубе "Тень" 17 февраля (несмотря на двухчасовую очередь на вход на 15-градусном морозе) и концерт певицы МакSим 21 (или 23?) мая в "Меридиане". Декабрьский московский концерт Pain сюда не попадает в основном из-за того, что он не привёз клавишника.
5. Открытие года. Однозначно - Coldplay.
Претенденты: Dope Stars Inc., Amanda Marshall, Los Kjarkas, The Rolling Stones и ST1M :D
6. Женский вокал года: разрываюсь сразу между тремя - Sonja Kraushopher (L'Ame Immortelle), Sharon den Adel (Within Temptation) и Claudia Uhle (X-Perience, Angelzoom). Пожалуй, всё-таки Соня. Ну и среди прочих, как обычно, Agnetha Faltskog и Sandra.
7. Мужской вокал года: Thomas Reiner (L'Ame Immortelle). Претенденты: Chris Martin (Coldplay), Martin Bo Eric Ericsson (E-Type), Peter Tagtgren (Pain).
8. Русскоязычный исполнитель года (у меня таких в принципе немного)) - певица МакSим. Претенденты - Звери, Валерий Меладзе, Hi-Fi.
и 9 - "хорошо забытое старое". Суть следует из названия)) В прошлом году я с огромным удовольствием после более или менее длинного перерыва вспомнил о таких исполнителях, как Nautilus Pompilius, Baccara, Patricia Kaas, Metallica. Но всё же лучшими музыкальными воспоминаниями в 2008 году стали (и тут первое место присудить не могу, так как слушал их чаще всего подряд, если не вперемешку) Hi-Fi и Five.

Кажется, никого не забыл) Что же, желаю всем, чтобы новый, 2009 год радовал нас музыкой ещё больше, чем предыдущие!

Forgot to add this at the time (or maybe it's cos it starts with Leon Jackson that I conveniently forgot ...hehe) I love that song though! I'm a fan of Mariah Carey *and* Whitney Houston but I didn't like When You Believe when they sang it, but I actually love it when Leon sings it. I think his voice sounds rich and, hmmm I just the texture of it. Plus I've been feeling quite positive recently with a good start to the year with jobs etc...

And you know, as you can tell from the playlist for January - I'm not a music snob by any means. I think if any music pleases someone, or produces some kind of emotion then it's served it's purpose... Even I have shocked myself though by liking a Take That song! It's the last one on here! haha
