The mighty Aerosmith hit their stride with their second album, Get Your Wings. Their debut had been a satisfying collection that was primal and raw, with a mammoth hit in “Dream On.” Get Your Wings turns up the volume with several of the band’s fan favorites. The salacious “Lord of the Thighs,” the extra-terrestrial “Spaced” and the one-two punch of “S.O.S. (Too Bad)” and the rockabilly classic “Train Kept A-Rollin’,” done as pure stadium hard-rock, are songs that defined the band’s early appeal. Singer Steven Tyler’s strong personality is in full evidence as he rasps and toys with the words and melodies. “Seasons of Wither” is a remarkable ballad, a trace of tenderness coming from a band best known for their wisecracking tales, as “Same Old Song and Dance” makes plain to hear. “Woman of the World” is the perfect essay on ‘70s-styled rock ‘n’ roll decadence with a woman who calls her own shots, while “Pandora’s Box” is an expression of pure old-school blues lust, with added R&B twists.

My favorite album from the holy trinity. It's hard to choose between them thought. All 3 albums are amazing.
