Many great moments on this, but the mix puts me off. Just the balance. I can't believe how high in the mix the beats, especially the snare is in some (most) of the tracks, completely overshadowing the rhymes. Listening to it loud gets annoying after a while cause you can't help but feel like it's an album of beats accompanied by a rapping background instead of the other way around.

I don't think I've ever heard a bad track produced by Dilla. This is a good underrated album. I'd say the love movement is the only weak one, and it's still good

The Dilla beats are good... but not for ATCQ.

Why does Dilla fans think that everything he touches becomes best??I mean, dude's great producer sometimes, I don't talk against him, but that doesn't mean that this album can step even on the little finger of any previous Tribe records.Obviously.

i think the ummah, which is tip, ali and dilla, is credited for production on all tracks but the hop

Underated imo. By anyone's standards this is A+ hip-hop. As an ATCQ album it's not far behind the first three. Oh, and along with Love Movement (which i don't like), it's co-produced by J Dilla.
