Last.fm was supposed to my be place for all the gig 'reviews' that I would post, but it seems like I've slacked a little here too. I have, since August, seen Architects again, and also Wolfmother in September 19th.

Best part of the Architects headliner at Hermann's Bar was seeing the band play older material at a smaller venue - small shows will always be the best! Seeing 'Always' and 'Buried At Sea' unfold was unreal, but it's a pity the band seem so intent on never playing anything from their debut again, that was my favourite stuff :(

Got to meet the guys. Well decent and down to earth. Hopefully they will be touring Asia soon!

Best part of Wolfmother was actually the support band Yves Klein Blue, haha, who are solid-as and did a sweet cover of Iggy and The Stooges' 'Search and Destroy'. Awesome. Wolfmother were the usual ordeal, but I was more impressed by the atmosphere than the actual band I guess - people here sure dig them...

Might go see Opeth in November, depending on how much money I have :)

Нет, действительно - - некоторым лучше создать что-то хорошее, а потом, не портя впечатление, переключиться на более внятные вещи. Джон Леннон после 1971 вполне мог бы переключиться на галерейное дело, уехать в Японию и снимать социалистические мультики, благо и Вьетнам рядом, Пол Маккартни с конца 90-ых мог бы пойти в парламент и тогда за либерал-лейбористов было бы не так стыдно, Алиса могла бы спокойно переехать штаты в начале 90ых и тогда бы и Цоя был бы наследник, Крейг мог бы не сниматься во втором фильме и заслужить славу незаслуженно обиженного гения, то что сделали Лукас и Спилберг с бедным старым Инди вообще должно идти под статью - тут я абсолютно согласен с канадцами - хотя Форд конечно сантехник и ему карьеру в этом смысле сильно не испортишь..
..и так далее)
Вот была замечательная группа - - Россия, вперёд! -- как про неё справедливо написано здесь - выпускала сингл за синглом - - истеричны и бодры, с названием-цифрой и другими котлетами. Теперь она выпустила не то подражание Колдплею, не то Меркьюри, не то каким-то совсем СтоунКайзерАрктикчегоунихтамещёзанудами. И вроде стали популярны. А потом - то есть сейчас - распались.
И я ответственно заявляю - ничего лучшего ¡Forward, Russia! сделать не могла!

This is just for my own use really - to remember my little shopping list of the top CD's I would ideally love to pick up on the way and own someday... For most of the artists I've mentioned, I'd like to own some of their other albums too, but for the most part I just picked out my best best.
