The song "Hgh and Dry". It was my first song 4 years ago, and I've been listening to Radiohead ever since. Another song that blew me away is "Idioteque". It's one of my favourite songs. I love watching it live on youtube. If only I was there for the real thing... *sigh*

  • i'd have to say...idioteque. or maybe it was karma police. i'm not quite sure, but nonetheless they are both amazing.

  • fake plastic trees.
    aah so amazing.

  • It was "Creep"... I was wonder about it...

  • oh and don't you think "Wolf at the door" from the hail to the thief albums is amazing?
It sounds a bit like a japanese manga at the beginning of the song but creepier, and then you have the chorus and it's like a big relief, a sign of hope for all the creeps out there, that it's not that bad and it can be sorted out! d'u see? (maybe not.. maybe not.)

Everything in its right place, I hated it, didn't bother with Radiohead again for a long while. One day, I was browsing youtube and decided to search for Radiohead videos. Heard Creep and Paranoid Android and whoa, ear-gasm.

hmm.... I don't really know. I was introduced to them last year (though I knew Creep from before - but who wouldn't???) by a friend of mine and she sent me No Surprises, Let Down and Idioteque. I didn't start to like them immediately, but soon I started to annoy her asking for more and more songs :D Today, these three are still my favourites. :)

  • Everything In Its Right Place was my first and still my favorite. Great song, great album, great band.

  • My first radiohead song

    Street Spirit.

  • I think the first radiohead song I ever heard was fake plastic trees, still in my top-3 of favourite radiohead songs.

The song that blew me away for the first time is no surprises. I was watching this movie in school called l'auberge espagnole and at the very end of the movie they played no surprises. It was so beautiful, so pure.

Then was the first time I realised that radiohead rocks my socks :)

  • I can't even remember which song made me realize Radiohead was awesome. I know Creep was the first song of theirs that I heard... I think after that, I didn't listen to them for months. Then one of my friends kept pestering me to download some of their stuff, so I decided to put my "best foot forward", so to speak, did some research, and decided to download OK Computer. Once I got to Karma Police, I knew they were genius.

Been listening for... barely over a year D:

  • Everything in its Right Place! I was listening to it on the train once and I kind of imploded when I realised how awesome it was.

  • Paranoid Android. A now ex-boyfriend introduced me... 3 years ago. Is that a 7/4 meter i hear? so good.

my first radiohead song was Planet Telex. It proceded to blow my mind.

  • I borrowed The Bends off of a friend when I was 17 and listened to it all in one go and thought it was alright until I got to Street Spirit and...well...

I remember hearing the guitar part on the radio when I was a lot younger and loved it but I wasn't particularly into music back then, so I never checked it out. It was like finding 'my' music, I can't explain it.

Then it was Karma Police, Paranoid Android, Just, Planet Telex, The Bends, Everything in its Right Place, Optimistic and so on...

  • The first song I heard from Radiohead was, as many others, Creep. I was a child and saw them playing it in a recorded Live Show. I liked it, bur didn´t realized how could I love Radiohead until OK Computer.

When I discovered Paranoid Android it became my favourite song, until today.

Have you ever listened Brad Mehldau´s cover of this song? Is just fantastic.

  • yeah PARANOID ANDROID!!!!!!!!!!!
    zomg most exciting moment ever
think i nearly peed my 15 year old pants at the time

  • TocarIdioteque
When I've heard this for the very first time, I couldn't understand the lyrics XD
Intriguing it was, I had to find out more... and then I fell in love.
