Is Life worth living?

This is a sad forum, full of sad people. And still, you're all alive, even if you sometimes seem to hate it.
So, can you tell me why you are still alive? What makes life worth living for you?

People are tricky, you can't afford to show
anything risky, anything they don't know
the moment you try
well, kiss it goodbye.

very good question. Even though I hate life most of the time, I do not see that it is good enough reason to end my life. Death is not really a solution for...anything. And do you guys really think everything would be all that different when you're dead? If so, why?

also, I'd like to point out that being depressed and having no reason to live is not the same thing as being emo. I mean, being emo is all about pretending to be something that you're not just to be "cool" in some twisted way.

Sometimes and to some people it might seem that everything is better than living. But nobody knows what death is like, so it perhaps wouldn't be a great solution to die. But who would believe that when he really doesn't want to live anymore?

I think people who think that they want death but can't commit suicide probably want only attention. You draw attention when you tell everyone that you want to die because your life is all so bad...
But perhaps some are just desperate, they search for other possibilities but nevertheless keep the thought of suicide as final solution.

even if you despise every inch of this world, death is just a worse form quitting.
Isn't it a great glory to fight through life even if you don't enjoy it. And there are other reasons for staying alive; to wallow in self pity, to explain your pains to others, to try to better the world, and theres always a hope that you will find something appropriate to fill that giant void in your life which exists even if it seems like you are a perfectly happy and lucky person.
Anyway, depression becomes almost enjoyable....
Personally I hope I live forever

The thing I hate the most is people that think 'people who seem happy and have it good are just winging when they reveal an underlying sadness.' They just can't begin to understand. You aren't deep unless you've been cut deeply.

This let me ask the question.. what is a reason to quit life? What is a reason which other maybe could understand?

I think it could be both kinds of pain. Because they sometimes cause each other, and mental pain can be much crueler than physical pain.
