So, I thought I'd create a group for Michigan's music scene that ISN'T dead.

So, after looking for an active group for people in Michigan to come and discuss music and local concerts/festivals and other various topics I couldn't find one. So I decided to make one.

I plan on keeping this group Michigan related topics/journals only. In the forums you can discuss venues, bands, festivals, cities, basically anything about Michigan. The shoutbox can be used to talk about anything though.

Bands:
If you want to be featured in this group then send me a message with the link to your site. You can have multiple links for a main website, your facebook, myspace, and other social networking pages. It doesn't matter what genre or how explicit you are, I'll post a link. Make sure to include in the message a description of your band and what style of music you guys play.

Submitting Journals to the Group:
I will not accept anything that's not related to Michigan. It can be a concert review, band review, or a festival review or maybe your thoughts on something about Michigan, but no off-topic entries please. They will be rejected.

I made this group seeing as there is no active Michigan group for music. Please if you join participate in the group.

    Awesome. I live in southwest michigan. About 40 minutes from lansing. In a place where I have to drive at least an hour to get to any concerts.
