Welcome to kick-ass. We are a group of users dedicated to making the most out of last-fm visuals by combining old-school ANSi/ASCII art with BBCode.

ASCII / Text art has existed for many generations and dates all the way back to the era of Telegraphs. While the age group here varies dramatically to include users who have not witnessed the magical beginings ASCII/ANSi art which is still very much still alive in the age of the web. Users of all ages are now immersed in this code revival using various tools and techniques of common computing with fervent enthusiasm.

In kick-ass You'll find many talented and resourceful users who can help you with the basics of processing text to make graphics.

We discourage plagiarism.
We encourage praise and pushing the limits.

We host extensions to sidebars by way of dedicating forum threads to our users in order for them to have more room to experiment with larger ammounts of code and graphics.

Praise the demoscene, and all the pioneers of graphics and coding hacks who constantly create violently good results through a creative mind that goes beyond our modern day out-of-the box moving forward piss-poor ready-made computer culture in the name of profit.
