If it's rock from the D we know it's good...now let's get the rest of the world on board!..oh yeah bands from GR and Mid-Michigan are sweet too!

The music scene in Michigan has reached a fever pitch and the best bands lie yet undiscovered by most of us. So if you know of a band that rocks feel free to share! This is all about music, not rock, emo, pop, any of that genre shit, if its music and it cant be heard on MTv (not that anything is ever really heard on MTV anymore) than this is the group to discuss it!

    I noticed that neither Satin Peaches or Bear Lake are on the connected artists list. They are fun live bands, and fit the bill for this group. So Bear Lake is from Rochester...close enough.

    DId anyone dig Thunderbirds Are Now! One of the most kickass bands hailing from Michigan, I think. I saw them twice in Ann Arbor some years ago and they rocked. I've listened to their album Justamustache a million times. They're on hiatus now, and their newer material lacks the oomph they once had.
