    Back in the day/decade, we didn't have near the access to the music being created then. Now, one can find great albums made back then, online and digitized. Back then, there was only AM radio and we heard maybe one or two songs by the bands, ever. There were "one hit wonder" bands, who had great albums that weren't heard then but that are being discovered now. Also, it is a pain to be old yet into new music of today, because at shows people think you are some kind of creep for being there or something and so they discriminate against you or look at you meanly; and because your peers are all uninformed about new music or are afraid to go out to see it.
