hmm,
I really like projects like that, but the problem is that after one or two episodes enthusiasm often drops below zero. you can always post a journal with fav tracks or a playlist.

on the other hand, maybe a project like this is easier to maintain in smaller groups.. and I like making mixes as well. so maybe we should just check who would like to join in.

My preferred audiocarrier would be cassette tapes. I just like them, but I don't know if all of us have a cassette player or want to take the effort to record them.
another option is sending playlists and using ftp to share the files (no hard work in recording the tape and no costs in sending the tapes all over the world) with or without cover art.
I.m.o. there should be no rules on what kind of music gets on the tapes/playlists, just things you would like other people to hear.

so, what are we going to do and who's in?

i'm definately in... i like it to be physical...
let us be free in making a 'gruizig en prettig' product (cassette, cdr, a piece of paper, your first born, whatever) of our own and send it via snailmail to one of the group members.

i am a lazy bum, i like mp3's. Cause:
1) it's cheap
2) it's easy
3) my cassette player is as dusty as those houses you sometimes see in horror movies.
4) it's not even connected
5) i got webspace to host my own mixes if i want to

(ps. I already have this imo really nice mp3 mix"tape" out on op3n.net: Orphax - Sunlights are fading Mixtape. It is splitted in two parts, side a and b of a 90min tape. The art work (just click on the image for the complete stuff), when printed is in the size of a folded tape-sleeve, so you can make it to a real tape)
