free gruizig en prettig trackfinder!

in this thread you're meant to add links to free tracks (mp3, streaming, etc.) that you think that people in this group might really like.

it is about single tracks! not complete netlabels or albums. just add a link to the track that you think is the most wonderful, if people like it they will eventually listen to the other work of the artist/on the label, but without being bombarded with too much music per timeunit.

the title of your post should contain the artist and the trackname. please add "TEMPORARY" to the title of your post if the track might be removed within a couple of months.

It's a track by Daizok, a Dutch guy who makes very nice ambient music.

You can just click on the link and a page will be openend where you can stream the song.

I'm in the process of making some new tunes after a long time of inactivity - or call it a lack of inspiration.

The first in the series is called Emerge, for the time being it's only streamed on my myspace page.

Orifex - Open

I was only introduced to this artist recently but the track in question, Open (album link), is a particularly nice drone which I could also say (lazily) has Steve Reich overtones. The album it comes from - Fugue - is also very good.

the track "clouds" certainly fits in the "gruizig & prettig" genre. Reminds me of the album "Soil" by terre thaemlitz (which is probably one of my favorite albums ever) and also a bit of Oren Ambrachi's work.

one of my all time favourite sites. this isn't really music, but these are free fieldrecordings. a lot of them are really wonderful (and some even spectacular). Book a few flights there and be amazed!

you should also listen to some of derek holzer's recordings, those will blow your mind :) (his recording of a filling radiator, for example)
