30 second streaming

Hearing things about last.fm through the grapevine. Apparently last.fm have made it so that ONLY 30 second streaming is now available on the site - including stuff which was flagged by content owners as "fully streamable."

Anybody have any insight to what might be going on? It would be a big blow to everybody here and to all the listeners if it were to happen and be permanent.
