I'm jake, I was bored because my girlfriend is locked down in her house and tim has been working so we haven't been able to have band practice so I've been listening to lots and lots of music instead of trying to write scholarship applications or do school work.

I started this group because I was bored, and I thought it would be ever so awesome to be a total wise-ass and start a group for myself.

P.S. our band is 1800s Sea Monster and peoples should check it out! search us on last fm, there's quite a few mp3s for streaming and downloading for free. awesome.

Hi, I'm Anetta, but most people just call me fetta, and have been doing so since I was a wee lil' whippersnapper. Like Lex, I also got sucked into joining this group because Jake writes some pretty goddamn awesome journals that pop up into my recommendations and make me smile. heh.

yeah, me too....the journals thing..

well...I'm paige. I draw and paint (going to art college next year), and I don't play any music actually. I have this harmonica in B that my boyfriend gave me before he moved away. Perhaps I will be mouthing it in the months to come. I like to think of myself as a sponge, absorbing music...when I should be actively doing something else. This might be due to an overcompensation of yin as opposed to yang in my character.

I'm going to a non-art college next year because I've come to feel that college is for people with money and for all other people a big joke that takes WAY too much work and motivation. I plan to get a rather bland degree in either art OR art and business and then be a hobo/outsider musician and travel the world and just make the music for the people who care.

Harmonicas are reedy! :)

My name is Josh. I'm incredible. I'm one of 1800s Sea Monsters' biggest fans (no joke, they gave me a free tee-shirt *spikes said shirt onto ground similar to how a football player spikes the ball after scoring a touchdown*). I'm so musically challenged, well... I'm not sure where I was going with that -- I'm guess I'm just musically challenged, but I do love music! I especially love loud, aquatic bands. But how I got suckered in? Jake left me a MySpace comment urging me to join on this site, haha.

Harmonicas are ebil, just like hobos. But hobo art is still awesome, seeing someone turn a boxcar into an alien is crazy.
