I've always got about thirty tracks on the go. Some haven't been touched for ages I know they're are good- they're just waiting
  • I guess windowlicker and donkey rhubarb

  • I'd say milkman, only because of the flash cartoon.

I dunno when I started to like Aphex. First I heard
Windowlicker. I wasn't utterly impressed at first, but upon listening i realized how good that song is.
But that wasn't song that made me start to like him actually,
but songs from I Care Because You Do - I mean Wet Tip Hen Ax, Ventolin, Acrid Avid Jam Shred, all of them basically. Not to mention SAW2 - especially my still favorites Cliffs, Tree, Curtains, Shiny Metal
    Rods and Windowsill.

  • for me it was wax the nip. pretty cool one.

    Windowlicker and Donkey Rhubarb.

  • Since early 90's...

I can't remember the song -- but I started with selected ambient works -- and well I was like 12...and that shit blew my mind -- haha I stumbled onto a whole new world of music from then on out...I would play his shit at parties and I swear the whole crowd would stop and be like 'wtf?!' lmao...fuck em...

I blame AFX for all my crazy raver days...when raving...was real...not just a kind of concert...

  • In late '94 I picked up the Chillout Phase Two comp from Instinct Records. It had Blue Calx on it. Love at first listen.

I was at Sister Ray, back then in 1993, checking out some new releases when I got hypnotized by a sound that was being played in the backgropund.

At first I tried to ignore it, but then the buzzing came followed by an urge to rush to the counter to ask about that sound, was told it was Aphex Twin's Pulsewidth. Been addicted ever since - viva rdj

A mate of mine told me about how good Druqs was, but I didn't really pay attention (what a fool i was, lol).
I saw Come To Daddy on a show called 'Videos they tried to ban', and from that moment, I was hooked.
