I believe there are some female voices in SuidAkrA... also, Deadlock but they aren't exactly folk-ish-

I haven't actually heard them yet but Arkona are tagged as Folk Metal, as are Nevid. Both are Russian bands, singing in Russian.

Here is the website for Arkona - http://www.arkona-russia.com/en/. It turns out that there is a totally different Polish BM band wth the same name.

Here is another one - Alkonost - also from Russia.

Deadlock is absolutely amazing...folkish or not, their newest album is simply incredible. I would try those Russian bands, if I could type their names to search for...

Hyubris,
Lumsk,
Gåte.
Аркона (including extreme female vocal) is mentioned above. Significant dose of metal can be found in the music by
Nebelhexe
Angizia.
