  just a quick note: you're all supposed to have connecting privileges (to link artists to this page). if you've been missed out, pls let me know, it's veeerry hard for me to check thru them all manually. rule #1 - primarily for pre-2008 (legacy) cases only; rule #2 - exercise discretion (don't ask me what that means - use common sense!) and sometimes, that means removing the recent activity entry from the artist page after you've connected the artist ;) thks...

  Thanks guys. I've actually changed my tags now.. they are officially allSTARS* but I always played them with the name itunes gave them. oops. I've spent ages looking for decent pics of them.. and have failed. But I'm uploading the best of the bad bunch. At least now I've made them PNG they won't pixelate anymore than they already are.   it's always good to be nice - credit the photographer if you know who took the picture. credit the source if you know it (the artist's official site press/mediakit/promo shots are always a safe bet against removals, you can never go wrong with those). credit the user who originally uploaded the image if you actually re-harvested yours from that. aside from that, accidental removals do happen sometimes (eg the wrong dupe gets deleted.)

  "Does anyone know why some of my pictures keep getting deleted?!?!" Some bands appear to be touchy when it comes to copyright violation. There are even profiles that you cannot upload pictures to at all. Maybe you should not have cropped the photo credit away, or you should have copied them to the description. This is just guesswork.
