    Hi all,

I've created this thread so we can be able to share our Rock 'n' Roll knowledge by recommending songs or albums. You can also write hints about the style of each song or album.
The only rule is that the material we are recommending should be by an Unknown Rock 'n' Roll Legend.

I'm gonna start by recommending a series of songs by Tim Buckley:

    I Can't See You
    It Happens Every Time
    Song Slowly Song
    Strange Sweet Affair Under Blue
all from the CD Tim Buckley - a folk album

    Phantasmagoria In Two
    Pleasant Street
No Man Can Find the War
both taken from the CD Goodbye and Hello - a folk / rock album

    Phantasmagoria In Two
Pleasant Street / You Keep Me Hanging On
    Troubadour
Wayfaring Stranger / You Got Me Runnin'
all from the CD Dream Letter-Live In London - a folk album

    Chase The Blues Away
    Driftin'
from the CD Live at the Troubadour - a jazz and blues album

    Make It Right
    Sweet Surrender
both from the CD Greetings From L.A - a weird album

PS: these are the only albums that i have listened to so far, that's why i can't recommend songs from any other CD.

  • More Buckley

All tracks from Starsailor - probably Tim's finest album but one the most underrated and certainly much of it can be difficult listening - but it is pure genius remembering that it was released in 1970. Sadly it is not available on CD (legal wrangle or something) but I have now transferred my vinyl to digital so can listen to Song To The Siren over and over again.

  • Husker Du/ Zen Arcade

Had this cassette a long time ago, two songs still stand out, "Never Talking to You Again" and "Pink Turns to Blue". "Pink Turns to Blue" is oddly about hiding a dead lover under your bed, or so I have heard. Great Album.

  • i have a compilation on the creation.called our music is red with purple flashes it contains everything the band recorded.and it's pretty cool.

love is all you need! is there anybody alive out there?
