Through the decades there were numerous skillful guitar players who were underlooked or even in some cases overshadowed by their imitators. Let's show them some love they deserve!

This group's intention is to cover all eras, mainly from 60s to 00s, and some of the more notable examples of such underrated guitarists are:

Freddie KIng; Hubert Sumlin (Howlin' Wolf's guitarist); John Fahey; Robbie Basho; Glenn Ross Campbell from The Misunderstood;
Leigh Stevens from Blue Cheer; Eddie Hazel from Funkadelic; Tom Verlaine from Television; Robert Quine;
Jody Harris from James Chance and the Contortions; John McGeoch from Magazine; Keith Levene from Public Image Limited;
Vini Reilly of The Durutti Column; Will Sergeant from Echo And The Bunnymen; King Buzzo from Melvins;
William Reid from The Jesus and Mary Chain; John Squire from The Stone Roses; Kevin Shields from My Bloody Valentine;
