kingronnie @CarpetCrawler13 - I saw them about three years ago in Cirencester. They were great. I chatted to the lead singer afterwards who was a really nice guy.

CarpetCrawler13 If you ever get the opportunity to see a band called The Musical Box do it! The recreate old Genesis shows of the 70's to perfection. Geneses and Peter Gabriel Have endorsed them and even supplied some of the original equipment used in those shows! I have seen them several times and am amazed at the level of reproduction they achieve.

famousseamusd Friends and true fans, you all must acquire somehow some way the newly remixed and remastered Genesis Box Set 3 (1970-1975). You will be amazed! It's as though a grimy film has been lifted off the old tracks. They sound sharper, edgier, clearer, like you've never heard these beloved songs before. I just got it today and haven't had a chance to listen to the whole thing, but I've already discovered sounds, moods, and emotions that simply were not on the old "boxy" mixes. Take the new "Supper's Ready" for example. It features an alternate, edgier lead vocal track that includes slight differences from the original. I think the song has been improved, if that's even possible. This is a collection all true fans should have. There's even a vinyl version. Run, don't walk, to your Internet store of choice and get this box set today! It's well worth the price!

tr3s_lunas Genesis has some of the best concept albums in history, starting with the lamb... It begins awesomely, and it has the best ending in all prog albums with that marvelous IT but of course, I love all genesis albums... I found myself liking Shipwrecked (from calling all stations - 1999) very much !
